How do the Dodgers go bankrupt?

Because the McCourts are financial morons?

How embarrassing for one of the proud franchises of MLB. That team is a hot mess and will likely stay that way for a couple more seasons. At least maybe it'll be cheap to go to Dodgers' games. I'm moving back to LA in a couple of months and I've never been.

Think it is time for the Dodgers to come back to NYC. Kick the Mets out of Ebbets Field II so the Dodgers can play there. The Mets then could go to Las Vegas. I am sure the Wilpons will enjoy blowing the teams money by gambling it away....... :p

Hey Zio
I'm going to the game tonight. Should be a great pitching match-up. Hopefully the Phil's lineup will show up at the plate:rolleyes: Oh sorry, their saving it for the WS;):D
Peace

That gives hope to Giants fans cuz we can only hope the worst offense can only get better and they will hit .700 in post season...

Dude
Great freak'n game. Cliff Lee was LIGHTS OUT... Apparently the wrong lineup show up last night:p Let's see if the rookie Vance Worley can do the same tonight against Lackey ( 7.36 ERA ) And remember Hamels tomorrow...

Peace

Fingers crossed. If we can put up 5+ runs again we should be OK with Vance.

Really had my fill of interleague and if I have to watch Darnell McDonald, Jason Varitek, and Mike Cameron bat 5-6-7 ever again, I may lose it. Cliff Lee is Cliff Lee, so it's not surprising, but I'm sick of our weak sister lineup flailing out there because of injuries and the National League.

I honestly can't believe some fans actually prefer to watch pitchers hit and all the switching crap with utility players that play 5 positions while hitting a cool .230. Yuck.

With John Lackey going tonight, that shouldn't be a problem.

Will see if Tito's decision to shift your boyz around solves the problem:p
Like I said Hamels tomorrow...;)

You mean Tito and Hamels? ;)

I'd rather watch Adrian Gonzalez play the OF and Big Papi play 1st rather than watching any of the McDonald/Cameron/Drew trifecta of suck, believe that.

I can't ever be mad at Cliff Lee after the giant FU he gave the Yankees and their money this offseason. Guy's just flat out nasty, and I'm glad he's not in our division.

As annoying as the last week and a half has been, I'm not worried about my team. We're a little banged up at the moment, but I've seen what we can do when we're healthy. Should be a fun second half.

Dude
We got nine guys on the DL and most of them are from the bullpen and still have the best record in basball;) What's up with that:rolleyes::p

Uhm, when did I say that your record is because your team is totally healthy? I wasn't comparing the Red Sox to the Phillies, I was talking about my team in light of a tough couple of weeks.

It's June 29th, settle down. No one is taking anything away from the Phillies, obviously, everyone knew Philly would be one of the top teams with that rotation. But chill out, they don't give out any trophies in June/July.

Cliff Lee has been lights out for a month now.. dude is a freak.

Lackey ****ing blows. He is like the new Eric gagne... we need to get Buchholz back asap.

yeeeup, and we started 0-6/2-10 and are still only 2 games out... still a long season. once we get buch back we can go on another 42-18 tear

*obligatory post by a Yankees Fan detailing our own tales of woe*

We've been killed by injuries as well...2/5 of our rotation, and it seems like half of our bullpen, of course, Jeter and Chavez was a tough loss early in the season.

We're lucky some of the kids that have been brought up have stepped up in the later innings and David Robertson has turned into the 8th inning guy that Joba was supposed to be.

That being said, if the guys have to be injured I'd rather it be as the beginning of the season than at the end. It's a long season, and I'm just happy the team has been able to stick around through all of it. Funny, though, if we could have taken 2 or 3 games from the Sox we'd have a sweet cushion. But for some reason we always seem to play them bad in the first half and then come back in August and September and get all those games back. Hopefully history repeats itself.

Nice job by the rookie tonight:cool: What were you saying about problems:rolleyes:

Is it just me, or is Mike Francesa especially grumpy today?

It seems like he's got the same frequency of obnoxious callers, but he's playing into their BS really hard and getting all vein-in-his-forehead about it.

In other news, how 'bout my Mets and their ~50 runs in 4 games? :D
