I don't understand. I ordered the day the computer came out, and I still don't have a prepped for shipping. Just a simple Not Yet Shipped. What the eff? Do these not go in order of when the machine was ordered!?

Ordered on 5/3 with in the hour after the store was up, and the status is still not yet shipped. :-(

Sitting in the same place. Ordered the day of announcement, and still "Not Yet Shipped". In Nashville.
 
Just checked the TNT site and its just arrived at the Airport too.

So glad the shipping dates got back on schedule. I am in the UK so its just Icelandic volcanoes that can go wrong now !

Perhaps it has something to do with the BTO options?

Video card, processor, 1 vs 2 TB hard drive...

Or just plain Murphy's Law. I'm sure we'll see movement soon. :):):)

Now that is weird ... you're is shipping to the UK via TNT and mine by Syncreon? I would have thought that it would have been the same carrier?

I wish I could track thats all .... either way, at least it's on route!

Just got another reply from :apple:. He says my order will ship tomorrow (June 8). Orderstatus still states shipment July 8 and delivery July 18.

Yay!
(I'm located in The Netherlands.)

Mine is Syncreon too. Im in Sheffield.

Mine was ordered on may 4th with shipping date of 15th of June. Then it pushed to mid July, I called Apple and then it was changed back to June. Estimated delivery now with TNT is 14th of June.

I tried that and sadly I think you're right.

I read somewhere else (via Google) on MR that Syncreon doesn't let you track Apple orders either ...

will just have to be patient (and stalk the other posters on here :))
 
Looks like all the ones that have shipped so far are relatively early May orders shipping to Europe, so I guess that's why us US-based folks are left out for now.
 
As for me, still 24 June - 4 July. Order from Belgium on May 3d. And still nothing, still not yet shipped.
So definitely not all early orders from Europe are getting the same attention. Still hoping for shipment this week though...

The shipping seems to be all rather random ... am sure :apple: know what's going on

My order now appears to have split ... my iMac is 'Shipped' and due 23 June whereas my Applecare & BatteryCharger are on 15 June.

More interestingly it would seem that my iMac may already be in Europe as suggests it's waiting to merge in transit but has no carrier or tracking number :confused:

I think I just give up ... it'll arrive when it does at this rate .... mind you, good fun guessing.

Can't wait to hear the good news from the first person who actually gets one of these mythical machines! :D

Mine hasn't yet shipped either and I ordered on the morning of launch day.

As far as I can tell all of the shipments thus far are headed to European customers. Oh, the irony (considering the slipped ship dates of a few weeks ago)!

I won't start freaking out unless 6/15 passes and my computer still hasn't shipped.
 
I rang Apple today just to find out if my maxed-all-but-RAM iMac (ordered 2nd June, due 22 July) would qualify for Lion (installed or qualifying for Up To Date), and also mentioned that a quote of 4-6 weeks availability suddenly turning into over 7 weeks was a bit weird. Just had an email back telling me that it's now due for delivery next week...!

I'll believe it when I see it, or at least see the Apple online order status update. No confirmation on Lion though...
