Sorry, my bad. I mean't from ship date to potential deliver date. 5 days? Did you have regular shipping or did you get upgraded?
You go by the model number not the 'revision' number. My SSD for my 21.5 is:
CJAA0201
It may have updated firmware, which I doubt. The 01 as opposed to the 02 could mean just the difference and a way of Apple of differentiation between the two models of imac. Probably totally internal.
They are the same SSD. The TS256C. Which is the same model as last years BTO imac 27 TS256B. The only difference between the B and C models is the firmware. Which can be updated. They should have but in a SATA 3 SSD. Not the same as last years.
First post, have been following delivery status with the rest of you. Ordered on May 3, and arrived at the house in Virginia this morning! Of course, I'm at work, so no fun until this evening.
My machine was on the June 10 plane out of Shanghai, with an arrival date of June 14 (got it one day early) so I suspect many other deliveries will occur today.
27" with 3.4 core i7
256 GB SSD with 1 TB
4 GB RAM- the Crucial.com delivery with 8 GB more RAM is on the way
6970 with 1 GB RAM (do not game)
It is on Bus tour with mine to:
Jun 10, 2011 11:13 PM - Shipment information sent to FedEx
Jun 11, 2011 12:17 PM - Picked up SHANGHAI CN
Jun 11, 2011 3:31 PM - Left FedEx origin facility SHANGHAI CN
Jun 12, 2011 8:53 AM - At local FedEx facility SHANGHAI CN
Jun 13, 2011 12:28 AM - In transit SHANGHAI CN
Jun 13, 2011 5:53 AM - In transit SHANGHAI CN
And this is with 2 day shipping? When I first saw the June 10th date, it was like, cool, Tuesday at the latest, now, the stated, Wednesday (3 Business days) seems more likely.
I ordered mine about a week ago back when the estimated shipping was 4-6 weeks. Now, the same config is supposed to ship in 1-2 weeks, but my ship date is still July 21. Any guesses on how soon they will improve my ship date?
Just went directly from "Not yet shipped" straight to "Shipped"!![]()
