Mine was delivered today at 8:00am. I already had bought 8GB of RAM from newegg and installed it before first boot. Here are my pics.

Soo excited :)

Awesome pics, looks good.

Maybe a dumb question, but is it better to install the extra RAM before first boot? I would think you would want to start it up first and make sure that there were no problems with the computer before installing aftermarket memory. I could be way off though, it's been seven years since I bought my last computer.

SAN FRANCISCO iMac waiters! My iMac was delivered this morning at 9:45am :D A day earlier than originally stated!!!

So if you're in SF and your order was to be delivered by June 14th, you might have it today :D

I'm stuck at work though :( So I gotta wait until the end of the day...I hate having to pay the bills...harumph...

Text a friend to call your work's main number, and have them ask to be transferred to you, saying that it's an emergency.

Take the call. Sound concerned.

You have to take the day off to deal with a family emergency. When asked tomorrow what it is, say it turns out that your (father/mother) had a kidney stone, but (other parent) thought it was something more serious because of the pain (affected parent) was in.

Same here. I also have a new Shanghai "in transit" scan 17 minutes later, but I'm assuming that's just a glitch. There's a FedEx flight to Anchorage that leaves from Narita around the time of the scan: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/FDX28

So perhaps we'll see a new scan from Anchorage in about three and a half hours (noon in Anchorage).

Not holding out too much hope for a Tuesday delivery any more though.

Mine is on the same route as yours...

Around China a bit, over to Japan, back to China.....

Anyone who ordered in the last week have updated shipping info.?

I ordered on June 6. Ship date is July 19 with delivery date of July 25. Has anyone who ordered around the same time had their shipping information updated? Thanks.

This man is asking a good question. It shouldn't be ignored.

Grrrrrr. Now mine is still showign "in transit," but is now in "NARITA-SHI JP"

Has anyone else had theirs get routed through Japan?

That's where mine is. I'm not too worried about it, though. It'll get here when it gets here.

Wow, that's elaborate! I had a kidney stone at the end of April. That biatch scared the hell out of me! Hurt like the dickens.

I had eight between 19 and 25. All were passed except for a 5mm one. Won't get into the details of that one, but that was the only one where I was hospitalized. I've had two female nurses say that when they had one it was worse than giving labor, mostly due to the fact that you don't go into labor for days on end.

But yeah, if that's too elaborate, people could just complain that they think they have leprosy and need to go home for the day.

Yeah I probably should have tested it first but I had faith in Mushkin.

So after doing some things I can't believe how fast this is. Starting programs like office 10 and iPhoto especially. Imported several hundred photo's and it still opens and browses the photo's scary fast.

I'll begin the 3 hour process of installing FCP tonight and test some video editing in the coming days. Excited to see how long it takes to export a 1.5 hour movie compared to my older iMac at work. It's a 2.16 Core 2 duo w/ 3GB memory. It was a almost 2 hours to export it in DV quality with 2 pass.

Mine is coming here with a plane… And what a plane :D http://theotveteras.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/old-airplane-106.jpg 3 days to arrive from China to Europe
