The only interesting super bowl i see would be falcons ravens battle of the dirty birds. 9ers story is interesting and i love kaepernick but i cant stand harbaugh. And i kmow certain people here will say im hating but the pats are just soooooo boring everything about them is just boring to me. I really dont want to have to watch them again

I think the Falcons game should be very interesting, and difficult to predict
Could be close, could be a blow out

Remember... the 49ers were hammered 26-3 by the NY Giants who the Falcons crushed 34-0... pre-Kaepernick you say... well, they were humiliated 42-13 by the Seahawks WITH Kaepernick a couple of weeks ago on the road, the same Seahawks the Falcons just beat. They also lost to the Vikings who couldn't make the playoffs, and they couldn't beat the Rams in two tries.

The Falcons beat the "Pistol" read option 3 times this year already:
RGIII
Cam Newton (1-1)
Russell Wilson

No team is invincible, and the more the media makes Kaepernick out to be the greatest QB ever and the 49ers to be a juggernaut that can't be stopped, the more they are setting them up for a fall.

If you listen to the pundits and media, it is hard to believe the Falcons won a single game this season with all their flaws and deficiencies.

I am glad Kaepernick played lights out last week. It will make it that much harder to live up to the hype machine and repeat it this week.

When you reach this point in the playoffs, teams are so good anything can happen. I'll be rooting for the Falcons, but I believe it will be a difficult game for them to win. Stranger things have happened. I remember an invincible defending world champs Saints team went to play a Seattle team with a losing record that many felt shouldn't even have been in the playoffs. How did that turn out?

The Falcons shouldn't have beat Seattle. They didn't beat Russell Wilson, they beat the Seattle defense.

The reason they are handed so much criticism is because they do so much stupid stuff. They were up like 24-7, then went away from their game plan in the second half and let the Seahawks come back and nearly win the game. I'll be very surprised if they beat the 49ers, and you could count me as the most surprised person around here if they somehow manage to win the Super Bowl.

I know what you mean and feel the same way. The Patriots are like the San Antonio Spurs of football. All they do is win but they do it in an unexciting way - it's just basic fundamentals, no nonsense, very sound football. But if you're a Patriots fan, all you really care about at the end of the day is the win.

As much as they win year in, year out, and as good as Brady is, the Patriots don't really offer any entertainment to me.

I think the only time I could really watch the Patriots was when Moss was on the team and he was making catches in double and triple coverage against the Dolphins and Jets.

Almost that time fellas!

I have 49ers as a sure thing, and toss up between the Patriots and Ravens. I wouldn't bet against Brady, but Baltimore defense is out to make a statement.

My day hasn't started out so good......my Lakers got down by like 16 to Toronto and then Dwight Howard got ejected on a real BS call......hopefully my luck picks up in an hour!

LOL. It's the Raptors so being down by that much doesn't mean anything. They always start off hot in the first half and lose in the second half and ultimately lose the game. And plus, it's the Lakers. It's not hard to come back. :D

Interesting, I also find them boring to watch sometimes. Id rather be on the edge of my seat in a close game, then to watch them blow out a team in the first half.

hahahahah yea right. I hope they smoke the Ravens so bad they will be embarrassed to go home. BYE BYE RL BYE BYE!!!!!!!

So far 9ers being brought back to earth. Falcons are playing like a team that got no repect all week and it shows. Heres hoping the ravens do the same

I don't think the 49ers can stop Roddy and Julio, the front seven need to apply pressure and get to Matt Ryan. Right now, the 49ers look clueless and/or overmatched in the secondary.

Looks like those intermediate routes are still a weakness for the Falcons. It's not like receivers are beating the DB's, they're WIDE open on those plays, if receivers are getting those looks, it's only a matter of time before Kaepernick exposes and attacks that area on rushing like he did last week against the Packers.

24-14 at the half

Falcon offense has played well with a number of highlight catches by Julio, Roddy and Tony

Defense played well early, but will need to solve those intermediate routes with the tight end like last week... it is a tradeoff to stop the run

Lot of football left and should be a great second half

Matt Ryan has to be one of the best QBs I've seen running the 2 minute drill whether its halftime or the end of the game. You always feel like he's going to at least get in field goal range no matter where they start on the field.

That's why they call him Matty Ice! Should be a good 2nd half.

Ouch akers. He might be gone next year along with mason crosby. Although crosby kicked well against san fran and the way mike mcarthy keeps underperformers alive (capers) he will probably survive

Falcons falling apart. It must just be bad mojo

----------

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE OF a CALL

----------

NFL football.... Get your dresses all prettied up for that ball

Serious question... Is the NFL going to be similar to professional wrestling soon? Defenses so afraid to make a hit might as well be flag football

----------

Falcons look like a completely different team than the beginning of the game
