Yeah, I was serious. I played semipro baseball (not even close to professional sports, I know), but my favorite coaches were always the over the top ones that wore their heart on their sleeve. I don't know why but those coaches always seemed genuine to me, even if they really weren't. That's how I view Harbaugh. Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me if he did things like that for his players. I'm fine with it.

Ugh. This season cant get much worse. If the pats win it will be boring vs baby. If the ravens win we will have to listen to the royal harbaugh story ad nauseum
Dont come with those excuses. Falcons did everything to lose last week, they did the same today. They are a great regular season team, that's it.

It was the same thing that happened against Seattle. They came out flying, put up huge points and were rocking the opponent, then they just quit in the second half.
SF was down 17 points. Coming back and winning that game is inexcusable.
It was a fun game though to watch.

Kaepernick simply beat the Falcons with his arm. Atlanta zone coverage was ineffective and allowed the 49ers to gain huge chunks of yards and it was simply their weakness shown last week and carried over this week.
Regardless of who wins tonight, it's going to be an excellent Super Bowl:
Either Harbowl or the 49ers/Patriots which is the ga,e I think everyone wants to see.

I think that is a gross oversimplification
First, nobody quit in the second half, that's just ridiculous
Give the 49ers credit for making plays and adjustments
It was a hard fought game and the Falcons turned the ball over twice to stall themselves
The 49er fumble at the goal was huge, but they still ended up with great field position
Teams fight hard and come back, that is why they make it this far in the playoffs to begin with
A lesser team folds, but Seattle and San Francisco are both great teams
That said, the Falcons still controlled their own destiny at the end
They just didn't make the play on 3rd and 4th down
I tip my hat to the 49ers, their defense was shredded all day like the Falcons
They just made the play when it counted
