If this is true, then my fears of Apple getting out of the desktop market is true. Judging from their marketing materials (on the web, in the stores), they only want the Macbook Pro and Air along side their precious iPhone and iPad.
I hoping my theory is false.
guys, the stores are empty everywhere, there HAVE been rumors about thinner imacs and even the Chinese photos, come on, in some hours will be sitting here and crossing our fingers for a soon delivery of our new iMac-orders![]()
If the iMac was thinner, we'd have a leaked photo by now. We don't even have leaked specs...
I have a feeling there's no redesign. Possibly no 2012 iMacs. We may get a "coming early 2013" type of announcement.
When you go on Apple.com page and go to MAC if you click on Macbook or iMac you wil get picture of the computers but when you click buy one it will say we are updating bla bla on milion languanges....
Only on MacMini if you go on page you get that is updated.

Yeah macbooks are totally overpriced, that's what Apple like, overprized products with the minimum specifications. iMac is not a good bussiness due to the hight specifications in relations with price.

We're screwed knew it wouldn't come till 2013
Apple really needs to spin off the Mac division and let a company who actually takes pride in desktop computers run things for a while.
The difference is that they still had mac pro stock. I'm not sure how they wiggle out of this one.
This is going to be an excruciating event to watch without any mention of imac.
they need to give the release date such as "november"
I decipher it, their invitations tag line. "We've got a little more to show you" I infer there will be a "one more thing". Cross fingers.
