2012 iMac - next big date?

Let's be positive here. I'm pretty confident Apple hasn't forgotten about the iMac and its special place in the company. If they aren't announced then simply be prepared to implement your backup plan... This wait has shown me how much I don't really need a computer at home. I would love a new iMac and don't have financial or employment ties to my home machine as well though.

Just remember preparations A thru G were unsuccessful...
 
Now Mac mini... Still NO F-IN IMAC !!!!!!!!!!! What is this. Is it because that's what I want???? 500+ days
 
gonna be a long day........ soon they will merge the mac pro and imac forums into the old posts bin. :(

er..sorry no. I printed out current specs/prices for the Italian Applestore base iMac systems and MacMini systems yesterday.
21.5 2.5GHz QCi5 MC309T/A was euro1158
21.5 2.7GHz QCi5 MC812T/A was euro1461
27 2.7GHz QCi5 MC813T/A was euro1663
27 3.1GHz QCi7 MC814T/A was euro1915

I know the BTO MacMini 2.5GHz DCi5 to 2.7GHz DCi7 upgrade was 101 euros.

How's that for a definitively wrong answer, giving you all the facts you didn't need, in euros, with a VAT rate here at 21%, it's probably theoretically possible to work back to the UK VAT BTO. Hopefully someone else will give your data, but next time print or pdf everything out - I have 20 pages on the Mac Minis and only a few on the iMac.
 
Think Edry got a heart attack ? Im gonna find a nice brick and suicide after tonight. Yes my life is that empty and hollow. My poor GF will never get the old me back :(

You know... the guy who was happy with what he had and didn't know a new iMac was "just around the corner"...

If this doesnt happen tonight, I'm going to write a long formal apology letter to DirtyHarry in my suicide note.

At this point it should be quite obvious that they're working on it. If there's a problem.. well, to be honest, I'd rather wait a few extra weeks for a computer without flaws than play the screen lottery and spin the whee until I get a good one (like I did on iPad 2).

That's of course better but they can at least then announce it with a long delivery date. Or at least give us some shreds of info to hold on to meanwhile. No iMac, no stock and no info is unbearable.

It's been 539 days... exactly how much more "time" do they need to work out the kinks?

If you meant "I'd rather they wait a few weeks for a computer without flaws" then that stopped being a valid apology for them months ago. The iPad is a special case, as it was only their 2nd tablet. iMacs... they've been doing this for a while.

If you meant "I'd rather wait... until I hear back if it's an epic fail" then that goes for lots of people... wait till the early adopters give it a thumbs up / down.
 
Sorry just getting in from work here in uk. R there no iMac indicators at all. I have seen the rMBP 13 and iPad mini covers and Mac mini spec guesses. Surely there is something imac:apple:

They've been doing iMacs for a while but we've "known" it was a completely different screen since July. The rMBP process apparently didn't scale as well as they thought it would. Or something.

I will be buying the moment is available. I'd just rather it be perfect when I get it.

how long does apple need? A couple more years? Its got to the point where if no news is released today im not buying an imac
