If it's staying at the $1800, I'm probably going to end up upgrading
 
I wonder what the gamut of that new display is. Probably ~70% Adobe RGB, which would suck for me.
 
I'd be damned... I didn't believe it. Well, Apple has done it again... Now its officially ahead of all notebook makers on the planet...
 
With that resolution I doubt 1gb vram will be enough. I think I'll go for the old MBP, depends on the pricing.
 
I wonder if the panel is Sharp IGZO. If it's just a bigger Samsung/LG iPad 3 screen, this thing is going to run hot and have uneven color.
 
Non-upgradeable storage and RAM is killing it for me. Also, the lack of a SuperDrive and the unknown color gamut of the display, though I'll have to wait for AnandTech's review for the exact gamut.
Price estimate around $2500 with minimal specs. This laptop should drop the "Pro" designation.
