10:42 am Starting configuration, 15.4", 2.3Ghz processor, 8GB RAM, GT 650M 1GB, 256GB flash... $2199

*Sigh*

Too much for me

sadly out of my price range :/

And I sure don't want to wait for HD display to come to one of the 13"ers.

$2200 is actually surprisingly cheap given that a 256GB SSD is included. I am truly impressed.

Non-upgradeable storage and RAM is killing it for me. Also, the lack of a SuperDrive and the unknown color gamut of the display, though I'll have to wait for AnandTech's review for the exact gamut.
Price estimate around $2500 with minimal specs. This laptop should drop the "Pro" designation.

Price is fair imho. Of course we'll have to wait for reviews, but it's a good machine from the specs.

Also... ships today... omg omg omg o_O

So, 13" is quad core?

Around £1400 for the base new MBP. Bit disappointed that the Retina isn't in the existing MBPs.. or a redesign.. I feel if i buy a MBP i'll just be getting the 'older generation' Macbook. This is tricky. Do i save longer or buy the slightly spec bumped MBP.

Yeah that sux, I guess they want you to pay apple prices for ram upgrades, which means 3x the normal price. Same with SSD.
