I'm hoping that Youk comes back strong so maybe ARod will beg to be traded because he doesn't want to be a bench player...... ;)

Well, when the Blue Jays were the Marlins they didn't run away with anything. ;)

I think our pitching is going to have to pitch lights out for the first few months - until they can get the bats back. They certainly have the ability. Cano, Gardner, Ichiro are still pretty decent, and Youklis is having a good spring. Wells is having a good spring, so if he can get hot for a bit, it's a bonus. And if the speed guys can get on base, they're not going to have to rely on those missing home runs to score.

I'm not going to be doom and gloom in March. It's a long season, and anything can happen.

Part of me never ever wants to root for Youk.:p

I will report my findings Monday from NY.:D

Ha ha, watching Yankees fans hoping for Youkilis to perform well is the greatest gift spring training has wrought. Surpassed only by watching you guys root for the Emperor of D-Bags in A-Rod. This is going to be a fun season. :D

Make sure you're all practicing your "YOOOOOOOOOOOUK" between now and opening day. ;)

Only in the hopes of getting rid of ARod. :D

I honestly don't know how you listen to him. SO obnoxious. The dumb things he says. That "SEE YA!" call makes my eye twitch.

I could be a bit biased, though. :p
CCCCCYA, is Michael Kay on TV, and no I can't stand him either. John Sterling does the radio call.

That's Michael Kay!!

I must say, after spending 7 years listening to the Astros radio guys, I welcome Suzyn and John.

And, yes, you are biased. :D

I am not, however, when I say that the guys from NESN are worse than listening to nails on a chalkboard. ;)

I enjoy Remi and Orselo when they are goofing off. What else can they do the team on the field sucks.:D

Ah, right. Yes, Michael Kay, he's the one that instantly makes me mute the TV/computer. :D

That's Remy and Orsillo, hater. And what's the Yankees' team's excuse for being so dreadfully boring? :p

Hopefully they have some gags planned for when anyone but Robinson Cano is batting!

Those accents and those voices.

I just can't....

I actually don't have a Boston accent, so I'm not offended. It can get annoying, especially when it's overpronounced, but it also depends on who's speaking. It's certainly better than the Fran Drescher/Carrie from King of Queens accent. :)

Well, Yankees fans, it seems it's time for us to dance again. Good luck!

Ha! I actually don't mind it. Suzyn Waldman is from that area, so I hear the accent when I listen to Yankees games on the radio.

And nothing like starting the season against the Sox. Right into the fire. :D

Looking forward to a new season of friendly (and sometimes not so friendly) rivalries.

So I was invited to go to Yankees opening day against the Red Sox. First time I ever attended an opening day. Even if we didn't win the day was awesome. Rivera got the biggest and loudest ovation. A very touching moment with the tribute to Newton. The quietest you will ever hear that stadium, the only noise was from the Flags on the roof. Great day to start, sunny with highs in the 60's. By games end windy and rainy with highs in the 40's. Fitting considered the way the game ended.

Cano fires Boras. Think our chances increased on resigning him. :D

That is awesome. I will be going to the Dodgers vs Yankees at Yankee stadium in June. Can't wait! Flying out for the game and take in a few more sites and food of course!

I have a lot of friends who are Dodger fans and good god, after the opening day win you would of thought they had one the world series or something. My FB page was littered with Dodger crap. Ugh.

Pulling the yanks in 13~!

The stadium is huge, just to explore everything takes a few trips. Try to get to the Yankee museum. And bring money!

Lobel's sandwich is a must get. $15, but it's worth it. :D

Perfect Game Alert!

If a perfect game happens against the Astro's does it still count?

Kuroda taken out of the game due to possible injury.....

I am not liking our prospects for our season this year..... But, I hope Hal sticks to the $189 million plan even if we suck this and next year. So we can get the luxury tax down from 50% to 12% so we can be aggressive again for the 2014-2015 offseason.

And the Mets look like a contender in the first 2 games, of course it's against the Padres of all clubs...

A GS in game 1, three 2-run HR's (2 were CRUSHED) in game 2 and a rookie starter (tonight) went 7 innings with 10 K's!
