Here is why Josh McCown is no longer the QB of the Bears.

He's terrible.

I can't believe the Lions are playing Monday night. They've come a long way.

They're still bad, but at least they field a football team now.

They will never go anywhere till Jerry Jones sells the team.

Probably, and I'm no Cowboys fan by any stretch of the imagination, but Romo really hasn't had the reps and to throw him into full blown game speed and expect him to be like he was, is a little unrealistic.

Jones was owner for three super bowl wins.

On February 25, 1989, Jones purchased the Cowboys from H.R. "Bum" Bright for $140 million. Soon after the purchase, he fired longtime coach Tom Landry, to that point the only coach in the team's history, in favor of his old teammate at Arkansas, Jimmy Johnson. A few months later, he fired longtime general manager Tex Schramm, and assumed complete control over football matters.[4]

The Cowboys won the Super Bowl at the end of the 1992 and 1993 seasons. After the 1993 Super Bowl victory, reports began to surface in the media that Jones had made the statement that "any one of 500 coaches could have won those Super Bowls", given the type of talent that he (Jones) had drafted and signed for the team. Jones also stated to reporters at a late night cocktail party that he intended to replace Johnson with former University of Oklahoma coach Barry Switzer. The next morning, however, Jones famously denied those reports by stating that it "was the whiskey talking". Johnson was eventually forced out in 1994 and Switzer was hired to be the new head coach. The Cowboys won the Super Bowl for the 1995 season.

I am a Cowboy fan, and well I now know how the Raiders felt under big Al. We have the new Al Davis of the league. And until he, Jerry Jones is done, well the Cowboys will done.

I couldn't agree more. A few years ago Daniel Snyder was trying to take that crown, but it appears he took his hands off because he realized the Redskins can screw themselves up enough without him.

Lions looked pretty good in the first 3 minutes and then fell apart till half time. A million stupid penalties. Then they came back and finished the game with zero penalties for the last half. Pretty impressive. Usually it's the other way around for them.

It looks like the new system is working for Stafford. His accuracy was way up. Or, it could just be the Giants. They had been touted as having a revamped secondary, but they looked terrible out there on both sides of the ball.

Eli... well I don't even have to say it.

wow the Giants look really bad, Eli better grasp this new offense soon before it gets out of hand..... I lost count of how many times the announcer said "Eli and his receiver were not on the same page"

For a league that can control the message they are really imploding on this Ray Rice story.

And the Giants just suck balls. Glad I didn't get t see the game last night. But I am glad that Stafford gave me good points. :D

He also isn't throwing so low over the line. That was a problem last year. Too many blocked passes.

Yea....and "That was a miscommunication".

So weird.

This is right outside of Houston. I wonder what's going on?

My theory is things have always been this way. The Internet, everyone being able to record video and social media has just brought it all to the surface. NFL PR, as powerful as they are, can't make these things go away anymore.

How bout them Chargers! Wow, I don't think anyone saw that upset coming. Week 2 again proved how unpredictable the NFL is. Saints are 0-2 and the Bills are 2-0.

Here's my observations :)

Saints - I'm shocked to see them winless
Pats - Great solid performance but with AP playing I think the Patriots were able to largely dismiss the running game and key off of Cassel throwing the ball. If he was playing, I think the outcome might have been different, or at the very least a lot closer.
Chargers - they came out to play and play hard. The Seahawks looked flat, they just didn't seem to have the fire in their belly. I'm not sure if it was more of the Chargers winning the game or the Seahawks losing it.

Lets stop with the PRSI comments regarding the various issues the NFL is facing. This thread is not the place to discuss them.
