The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network is installing monitors at the Clink to measure for potential beastquakes in Saturday's game (there is an annotated breakdown of the 2011 event on the linked page). Perhaps they will display realtime info on the screens, which could incite the audience to make even more noise.

An even noisier crowd ain't no way to show dem southern boys any decent hospitality. I wonder if all that noise will one day backfire against Seattle's own players. I was at a KISS concert in their 70's heyday the overly noisy crowd kind of wrecked parts of the show for me. I came to actually hear music for a change.

Well the Pats are today, of any team can get by them its the Ravens. For what ever reason Baltimore really gives it to NE. I have to hand it to the coach, they really get them prepared for the game.

Yep. I'm hoping for a Ravens win, so the Broncos will be playing the AFC Championship game at home.:D

Ravens colts championship would be ideal. Battle for old Baltimore. Plus not having the princess qbs in the final would be nice

Ummmm..

The noise only happens when the opposing team has the ball so Seattle won't be affected by it other than for motivation.

As far as the comparison of someone going to a concert to hear the band. Well the noise at Seattle games are made by the people going to see the game.

just sayin'

:D

I'm taking the Pats [ Ravens ] by 10

4th quarter stand and Pats D pull it off! INT!!!

One current 49er nemesis out (Ravens, Super Bowl 47 champs) with one to go (Seahawks, NFC best). I don't know how to beat Seattle, but I hope they just don't bring it tonight.

Hell of a game. Pats definitely earned that one. Their D came through when it needed to, after giving up 31.

Hated that playcall by the Ravens though. Even if they score on that play, they still give the ball back to Brady with over a minute left. Too much time. Then again, after years of watching Kubiak call sh***y plays for the Texans, I may not be objective.

He may not be the most pleasant person around, but Sherman is one heck of corner.

This is true. Sometimes a big ego makes a player falter (9 times out of 10‚) but so far he's kept up with his threats. Even if he isn't that good but makes QBs throw the other way, then Sherman's job is done.

I hope Carolina burns Sherman late and wins the game. It's not a series but one stinking game so anything can happen.

ugh... the only thing worse than the patriots are their smug fans :p

Smug, how about Seattle, but then again Seattle won the last Super Bowl and are favored to go all the way of who is still remaining.

Cross fingers and hope Carolina has great 4th~
