Man you can see the sadness, frustration and dejection on the fans. Bless their soul for hanging in there with such a dysfunctional franchise. I mean there are a lot of dysfunctional teams around the league but most have had a least a little bit of success at some point.

USAToday is reporting that he will start this weekend.

wow looks like Manziel really screwed this one up. he was on his way to being the starter for the rest of the season and having the opportunity to show what he can do. Instead one weekend of partying and he is deep in the dog house. I think they brought in terrell pryor who is now a WR to serve as the backup QB lol.

Manziel is done in Cleveland. When you can't become a starter on a team like the Browns based on your draft status, you know you f--ked up so bad that they will look outside the team to be ahead of you on the depth chart.

Agreed, Manziel is done in Cleveland.

Anybody want to do a friendly wager that Jerry Jones finally gets his wish to have Manziel on the Cowboys? He's probably the only person that would take a risk on someone like Manziel especially given Romo's inability to stay healthy.

That won't happen. Period. Jerry's not even in charge. Stephen is, and Stephen was the one who didn't take Johnny Manziel.

And Romo's health has nothing to do with it. I fully expect Dallas to draft a Romo replacement this season.

god **** the packers, seriously

play like **** all game and in typical fashion win it in the last second after a pretty ******** penalty

LMAO. When the camera panned to the end zone and I saw the poor coverage of the Lions secondary, I knew the Packers would come down with it. That's as poor of an attempt to defend a hail mary I have ever seen. Only the Lions.

its gonna be great when rodgers is done in 6-7 years and their luck runs out and they finally get some bust of a quarterback after 20 years and then maybe everyone like chris collinsworth and everyone else will get off their jock constantly acting like theyre the greatest team to ever exist, god its just some hole in the middle of nowhere wisconsin

its rough living in mn...if you like the packers so much, get out of the twin cities and go live in that wasteland, get outta my state

maybe they have such a loyal fan base because theres literally nothing else there to do

Hey now, in fairness, the Packers were bad before Favre.

Not a facemask, but nice play, regardless.

what does the rule actually say? i don't have a dog in the hunt and does seem that lions find a way to get jobbed every season. does the rule say something about "touching"? seems i've heard if you even touch it it is a penalty. i could be full of hooey, and fully expect that i am, but if that is the case then it is a penalty. but how many times do they miss that "touch" in a regular game?

As per the rule book, you're allowed to touch. It's only a penalty if there's any twisting/turning of the helmet/players head. If you break it down, yeah you can make an argument that he just touched but that's only if you slow it down. At full speed, it looked worse than it really was. You can't fault the referee for something he can only judge based on real-time/game speed.

Everyone complaining has the luxury of various views and instant replays thinking it's easy to make that call on the field. Don't blame the referees because I bet if any of us were there on the field, we'd call that 9/10 times.

Agreed. At full speed it looked like a face mask to me.

Is it just me or have these prime time games been absolutely amazing this year. I think with the exception or one or 2 the Thursday night and Monday night games have all had great finishes. Last year we had some snoozers, but this year even a crappy matchup like the Browns/Ravens turned out to be a great game due to the finish.

The last three prime time games have been really exciting…

Broncos beat the Patriots 30-24 and win on a 48 yard run in OT for the win.

Ravens beat the Browns 33-27 and win on a blocked field goal attempt that was returned 64 yards for a touchdown as time expires.

Packers beat the Lions 27-23 and win on a 61 yard Hail Mary as time expires.
