I really wanted to see the Lions win that game... bummer. Heck of game for the young TE though. It was refreshing to see him be so humble in the post game interviews.

As per the rule book, you're allowed to touch. It's only a penalty if there's any twisting/turning of the helmet/players head. If you break it down, yeah you can make an argument that he just touched but that's only if you slow it down. At full speed, it looked worse than it really was. You can't fault the referee for something he can only judge based on real-time/game speed.

Everyone complaining has the luxury of various views and instant replays thinking it's easy to make that call on the field. Don't blame the referees because I bet if any of us were there on the field, we'd call that 9/10 times.

completely agreed, and frankly, i don't care if the lions lost or not so... ha!

I'm stupid.

Can someone explain to me how Seattle can be overpowering the Vikings 35-7 in the 3rd quarter ? I mean jeez.

The hawks have completely dominated them. Vikings are 8-3 .
What gives ?

I understand players are out. Seattle has 2 starters out also.

Seriously . I did not expect Seattle to win so I didn't start any Hawks in my fantasy teams.

Is the NFC North that bad ?

To be honest, I never thought Minnesota was that great. Are they a talented team? Sure, but I wouldn't put them as an elite team in the NFL, just a very good team that has played well enough to win some games. I didn't expect Seattle to win in a blowout but I did expect them to win.

Wow what a great game at the meadowlands. I'm glad Coughlin decided to go for a touchdown there in the 4th when they should have kicked a field goal. In the end that may be the nail in the coffin of his tenure with the Giants. Anyway great win by my Jets.... They needed this one to stay in tight playoff hunt

Well, the rule changes finally pay off big, as the aints block a PAT and run it all the way back to score their own 2. That was pretty amusing. I think the league will be keeping these new rules, as entertaining the viewers is what they are about.

I think that's a good rule also moving the PAT back. I don't remember seeing so many misses and actually makes these a lot more significant and not a time for people to run to the washroom or kitchen to replenish their beers.

there were two of those today but one was called back for offsides.

dear lord, youre in field goal range down by three points with 15 seconds left, 3rd down. all you gotta do is HOLD ONTO THE BALL to get the kicker on the field for fourth down for ****s sake to tie the game.

in typical vikings fashion, minnesota sports law says not only must you fumble it, but arizona must also recover it, ending the game with another super disappointing loss.

between the packers bogus facemask win last week in the last second and this bogus fumble last second loss this week knocking us out of first place, i think im done for the year. packers can have first place and the same old boring perennial blowjob from everyone that goes with it.

our offensive line is absolute garbage. i cant believe weve done as well as we have with how many times the OL has completely failed us all year. no pass protection whatsoever. WTF is Norv Turner teaching these guys???? at this rate bridgewater will have a short career from all the hits, only a matter of time til he gets injured for the season.

I think the game with GB in week 17 will be for the division. Could get the wildcard. I think we can win our next 2 but we will see.

Bad way to end the game for sure, but it is hard to overcome 3 turnovers in a game and win.

I expected a blowout to be honest, which wouldn't have bothered me as much as fumbling away the game tying field goal in the final seconds.

Bridgewater has been sacked nearly 40 times this year. I mean what the hell?

So Seattle was leading the Vikings 38-0 in the 4th quarter then the Vikes got that punt return for a final 38-7 IN Minnesota .
And meanwhile IN Arizona the Vikes are tied 20-20 and Arizona gets a field goal to win 23-20. IN Arizona.

Me thinks the Cardinals better watch out for Seattle.

Only because it's a division match up. But I still think Arizona is heads/shoulders above everyone else in the division. Best offense in the league and one of the top defences.

I am so mean. Dez just had another catch against Green Bay ruled incomplete, and I laughed. The ruling was correct, IMO, just like the one in the playoff game.

raiders pulled off one of the stupidest wins of the season.

i swear it looked as though neither team wanted to win.

The Broncos looked totally inept yesterday. Twice in the first half they 1st and goal from inside the 5 and settled for field goals both times

I think this was the third game that the Broncos haven't scored an offensive touchdown this year.
