No, no, the Air 2 doesn't kill anything. It has tangible, yet arguably minor updates over the Air. The chip and ram are nice but many air owners never had issues with performance. Read some reviews, the consensus seems to feel thAt Air owners don't to rush out and update unless the camera or Touch ID are must-haves. Even then...

And, the sound vibrations and screen distortion are real issues being reported in plenty of places and forums. It's too thin but that's all the rage now. Whatevs.

Ofcourse it's a fine tablet. It's a great tablet, performance is the best ever. That's what's so annoying. It could have been even better if Apple had decided not to shave of the extra mm. Then we wouldn't have had these trade-offs. Totally unnecessary.

That and the reappearance of the screenlottery. Fortunately, based on the number of people claiming it, that issue seems not as widespread as last year. But still a bummer.
