How? There were 6 of them from all different angles that saw it. Even the replay caught it.
There were 2 defenders on 1 reciever in really close proximity in addition to the refs being there in real time with no slow motion or replays avaliable to them. Same way they missed Julio hitting Sherman in the face off the line and how they missed marsh getting held which most likely would have resulted in a sack if he wasn't held.

He held is arm the entire time Julio tried to jump. You don't really need slo-mo to see that. Also, people mentioned Julio pushing off on the start of that drive - if both penalties were caught, would they have offset? And if Julios was caught, it would have been a replay of that down, eh?

Either way, theres no going back - but I'd have to disagree and say it was a obvious missed call. That hold on Julio lasted way too long for none of them to see.

Sorry for the double, but ATL - that was a stupid run on 4th. Soon as you saw that pocket collapse, I'm sure Julio would have made something happen.

Anyone but the Chargers but - it is what it is.

I will jump in full bore, like usual, after I see what the heck happens with the twin droughts of baseball's Indians and Cubs.

I hate to again see the Seahawks are the best in the West. It's been so long that Seattle (2 of last three NFC West champs) and LA (in baseball with 4 straight NL West titles) have been like a urinary tract infection on the city of San Francisco.

The Seahawks were not that great last night. At least not the kickers.

Even if they miss the postseason, my Niners season isn't really full unless we best their regular season record. It's not like SF/Silicon Valley is the Niner's house, but the whole NL West region which we used to own without thinking about it (Montana, Rice, Young years) and it's no fun to see somebody win in your house. Seahawks will go up and down but I won't be surprised if they get three rings out of some of their core before they retire.

Part of the Seahawks getting a better shot at postseason will be because it's almost guaranteed they have two wins automatically just by being in the same division as my hapless Niners.

From '81 to '99, it was almost assumed we had a Super Bowl caliber team, at least on paper, but after that, it's just a struggle to go 8 and 8. That's 19 safe years followed by 17 scary ones including what will be a terrible year this year.

We all got deluded seeing over a two decade period of time that we could get 1/4 of all the years as a title year, but long term besides that rare run, only a strong run Celtics team in a similar time frame with a few core players/coaches, did what the Yankees have done in a strong entire century of going 1 for 4 in titles.

I feel for anybody in baseball who has to share a division with the New York Yankees, but it will probably be a tough decade for me and it won't be fun for all of us out west to share a division in pro football with the Seattle Seahawks.

I hope they (the dreaded Seahawks) are fading or will become bad but I think their strong run which started in 2011 or 2012 will probably go until the end of the decade, or more. Yikes!

I'm not gonna make any excuses. Hawks sucked big time last night. They need an offensive line.
Then again so did Arizona.

This was a 6-6 tie in OT.

2 very good defenses beating each other up.

I KNOW, RIGHT!?!?

Wow!

There I was giving you **** for believing in them! WOW!

rock on dude.
You are rightfully just in saying what you said, lets see what happens after this bye week. 5 games against teams with losing records. That will prove if we are pretenders or contenders.

I thought Le Veon Bell was in beast mode yesterday, didn't expect the patriots to have do many problems with him but am he is a truck and so young.

Glad the Pats won but man can't have too many games like the second quarter. The Seahawks should be contenders for a long time Wilson isn't even in his prime and neither is Sherman.

I think O'Brien is on the hot seat with Osweiler floundering, he's definitely not panning out like they had hoped.

I mean Denver benched him last year in lieu of Manning for a reason - he wasn't playing well.

I was so happy to see Brock come back to Denver and just totally suck. I would love to see him continue to be just awful.

I love the last picture because its right on the money (pun intended ;) )

Yeah, I was not a fan of Brock, from when he was benched and seemed to have a temper tantrum over it. I'm not sure why the texans thought he was worth it, given how he didn't do that great in Denver.

I agree it was a missed call, I just don't think think the refs intentionally didn't call it to help the seahawks.

I don't think it was done to help the Seahawks but that they should be held accountable cause it was too obvious to miss IMO.

Only reason why I didn't comment on Julio's is because I didnt see his full route (no good angle at the start of the run, I couldn't see him on my screen until the camera switched to after he took off).

I forgot they played yesterday. I need to look at the highlights.

you don't want Fitz.

I'd take the Amish Rifle over our 72 Million Dollar Man. Hail, I'd even settle for Brian Hoyer, broken arm and all.

It should be GM Rick Smith getting axed. Folks blamed coaching for the Texans failures, but those same coaches won a Super Bowl with a different roster. We would just be getting rid of a good coach instead of fixing the problem by axing Bill O'Brien. Hail, he might end up with another SB ring if the coached a different team.

While you're at it have the refs gig jones for slapping loud mouth in the face.

"throw a fumble..." ha ha ha ha...

Seriously, why was his leaving a big deal? he sucks! And they knew that already.
It's a big deal because he would of been better off in Denver, They offered him a good contract. He also knew the system and already was doing good with it. Now he is stuck with an awful coach, who's system is impossible to understand, who will also be fired before seasons end. Brock is going to end up like FITZTRAGIC, while Denver keeps winning with a guy who's getting paid pennies compared to him.

Brock went 5-2 as the starter for the Broncos last year, which is fantastic for a backup QB. Now granted, his stats weren't the greatest, but with as good as our defense was last year, they didn't need to be.

What got me ticked is that it is reported that he got his shorts all up in a knot about being benched when Peyton was healthy again. The Broncos made him a great offer, only $7 million less than the Texans, especially considering he had only started 7 games. I hope he has a mediocre career and NEVER goes back to the Super Bowl.

Amen! Well said, and I completely agree.
