It's a big deal because he would of been better off in Denver, They offered him a good contract. He also knew the system and already was doing good with it. Now he is stuck with an awful coach, who's system is impossible to understand, who will also be fired before seasons end. Brock is going to end up like FITZTRAGIC, while Denver keeps winning with a guy who's getting paid pennies compared to him.

I thought O'brien was supposed to be something of a quarterback whisperer, or maybe I'm confusing him with someone else.

Thats Adam Gase Miami Dolphins head coach.... O'briens system just doesnt work. With those receivers and running back they should be doing alot better on offense.

Agreed, I heard on last weeks game how complicated the Texans offense is, and how both QB and receivers can change the scheme and route on the fly without saying anything - depending on the read. That means of course both have to be on the same page, and clearly that's just not happening.

I have to say, as a Titans fan, that was the most enjoyable game I watched last night for probably the last 6-10 years. I just wish the defense hadn't gone into prevent right at the start of the third quarter.

I had Demarco and Mariota in fantasy! Thank you.

How the **** is it possible to miss so much calls on the Saints and call everything on the seahawks?

No Fun Leauge strikes again, I was watching the sunday night football game but the number of flags being thrown, turned me off on the game and I just gave up and watch something on the DIY network which was was more exciting then the game.

I'm not saying the Cowboys and Eagles played a sloppy game, but the officials where throwing flags at the most minor of issues. They prevented the players from actually playing the game.

You really don't have to wonder why people are watching less

With the new NFL, and this isn't excuse just a mere observation, the refs are having trouble getting that balance. SNF there were an abundance of flags but there were some calls that should have been made in the Arizona/Carolina game. Perhaps the refs need to go through more training but I'm not too annoyed with the flags, rather I'm more annoyed at the miscalls and consistency of calls that should have been.

That Packer v Falcons game was pretty good, I cant believe the packers are struggling so much. Tom Brady is on another level this year, bad news for everyone else.

Cowboys are the top of the NFC. The Cowboys look like a good team, but it's still pretty sad a team of their caliber is that good. The NFL product is just bad.

yeah, two weeks in a row... i was really excited about bradford living up to his potential. i hope it just a bump in the road.

Jay Cutler, point made my friend, point made.

I can say that the two losses by the Vikings have absolutely nothing to do with Bradford or his play. When you have a swiss cheese o-line and give up 5 sacks and let the defensive get that much pressure, there's not much anyone can do back there.

This pretty much says it all about the Vikings current situation.

Agreed. The O-line is the real problem here. Can't run block or pass protect.

It's actually a shame because the first 5 games, it looked like Minnesota was prepped to go deep in the playoffs and potentially the Super Bowl, now I'm not so sure.

Yeah, given the injuries, I was very impressed how the Vikings were the last undefeated team in the NFL. Now after watching them the last couple of games, I'm not so impressed. They have to figure out a way to improve their offensive line. If that doesn't happen, they will be lucky to have an 8-8 season.

The nfl needs full time refs that all they do is ref and meet up with other refs regularly to discuss things like WTH a catch is or what pass interference is or how bad does holding have to be for it to get called. Part time refs that have other jobs just don't cut it.

I don't understand this part-time referee situation to be honest. I get that it's only for a third of the year but they make anywhere from $78,000 to $170,000+. Tell me again why referees can't devote all their time during the NFL season? They make more in 4 months than most people make in a year. As a rookie ref, you're making the low-end in salary, which isn't that much relative to experienced refs who make six-digits so I would understand wanting to supplement that salary but if you're a veteran referee who's making $170,000+, do you really need the extra income that you can't devote all your time for the NFL season? I'm not saying NFL refs should not be allowed to pursue other areas or opportunities for extra income but they make enough to focus on football for the season and whatever they choose to do in the off-season is up to them.
