My Mac will come from China and then,in the next month it will go back China with me 😱
I used to work for UPS, we have this thing called Quantum search which will allow us to search shipments and see tracking that customers can't see, for example, as early as if a package is being printed and boxed. I asked a friend to search my Order Number and my phone number (because I can't think of any other number as reference) and it did not bring anything up. Assuming Apple is shipping via UPS, then they are not preparing to ship at this exact moment.

Sweet, seems that the ESC button extends to the left edge of the touch bar. That would be tremendous and assuage fears for touch typists (myself included).

All it showed was that the zone to press the esc key extends a bit beyond the button.

At least you guys have been charged! I'm getting paranoid over here! But I keep reminding myself the estimated shipping date isn't even here yet. It doesn't help that I'm STILL waiting for my iPhone 7+
Why don't we all get to see similar information? I've always thought the exposure to shipping was a little lacking (though much better than nothing). Are there changes that would disturb normal people without context and cause a headache?

Yes it can. There is no difference between the new power adapters and old in regards to the extension cable.

Yes, I am in a similar situation, I will likely be flying nearly the same route from China back to the states at almost the same time as the UPS 744 freighter carrying my machine.
It's mostly used for UPS agentsto search lost products because it gives such specific information. As soon as the sticker for the box is printed, it will let us know.
Hey guys, I just did some googling and found that appleinsider is stating the Apple stores are said to have some base model touch bar macbook pros starting on the 15th.
AppleInsider sources within Apple retail tell us that they aren't expecting "boosted" configurations of the MacBook Pro 13- and 15-inch with Touch Bar (including higher-end GPUs) in store at launch, but are expecting a few "baseline" models for customers to purchase on or around Nov. 15

Cool, this is the type of innovation I look for in Apple. For a majority of people the ESC key is the only one pressed without looking. So this will keep that ability going.
