I can't remember the exactly video, but I'm seeing that the extension cord for the power outlet actually is in the box, but it's under the plastic part. You basically have to cut it out. I can't verify this yet though.

Yeh i saw this too....but really think it was a joke.

It was added into the video so casually though.....was a strange thing to add.....cant remember who it was though.

Hahahah! Have you seen some movement on your order yet? CC charge?

No but I ordered two 13" stock models (no charges for these anywhere) and my delivery window is Dec 5 - 9.

But I can report on the history of my adapter order if that might help in any way. :D

11/7 - Credit card charged
11/8 - Order went into processing in the morning
11/8 - Shipment notification with UPS tracking links in the late afternoon (Tracking only availible around two hours later)

Tracking status says:

CZ
11/08/2016 2:41 P.M.
Order Processed: Ready for UPS

So maybe it tells us something about the general procedure (which many of you are obviously familiar with).

100% joke. He had to cut into the box? I think not. Talk about frustration free :D

To be honest, I actually fell for that for about 3 seconds. 3 seconds too long :(

Sorry but this was a joke.

Nothing for the last 2 days since my credit card was charged in full. Delivery by Friday (no delivery on weekends in Australia) is looking very unlikely.

One of the handful that has ordered the silver MacBook Pro 15". Pretty excited! Thought it was appropriate to go with the classic silver as this is my first ever Mac. Also, not too keen on the anodized Space Grey colour wearing after use.

Will my old 2015 13inch power extension cable compatible with my new macbook pro 15 2016 power adapter tho?

card charged yesterday at 7pm ish

2016 13in MacBook Pro
2.9gdz
16gb ram
256ssd

hopefully by next Friday (start of my thanksgiving break from my university)

so i think from tomorrow we will start seeing macbook pros ship

A few pages back someone said that Apple said via chat to them that they will ship batch one on the 9th or 10th and they'll be delivered by this weekend.

I believe this could be true from past experiences with Apple launches.

Some people said they got "express shipping", which is a lie (or they got finessed out of their $14 or however how much from Apple) as they always use the fastest shipping for new products. This being 2 Day Air for most of us or 2-3 days shipping, so the first orders should be coming in Friday/Saturday.

On top of that myself along with many other people who ordered stock machines haven't been charged yet, I believe this is because the BTOs for the first batch are being built and set aside and because of their assignment to people they are being charged now. Obviously stock orders are mass produced so I'm assuming once it ships there will be a mass amount of stock people getting their shipped notifications at the same time (again I've seen this happen before so it wouldn't be a surprise).

At the end of the day who knows, but usually Apple will delivery about a week earlier than they say and for us first batchers that's this weekend.

So who do you think will be the first batchers? People with dates between 15 and 22 or people with dates between 17 and 24?

I ordered about 8 different configurations over the course of the first few days, and cancelled all but one:
15" w/ Touch Bar
2.7GHz i7
1TB SSD
16GB RAM
Radeon Pro 460

Coming December 6th to the Apple Store closest to the MA/NH border (so I can avoid paying $~200 in sales tax)

Same here haha I ordered it to Salem. Same devlivery date!
