Anyone in Canada know if Apple typically uses UPS or FedEx for laptop shipments?
My 2012rMBP went Fedex and my 2015 iMac but others like my 2015 rmB and MacBook Air back in 2012 went UPS. I have no idea. What about people who got the non-TB, how did there's ship??

I'm closely watching a UPS shipment of Apple made calendars that I ordered to see how fast they get to me via UPS. They left from the main UPS hub so I will have a good idea how long I have to wait once the MacBook Pro makes it to the US. The estimated dates are almost always wrong for my location (Yukon).

Same build specs as me! Did you keep with the 512gb HD? Only difference is I ordered as soon as they went online and my delivery time is 2 days earlier. (Guess they had a lot of initial orders)
I went with the 1TB drive. Kinda surprised no movement on mine with a few reports of people in the 3-4 week range seeing P4S. Oh well, suspect it'll be here around the same time as all the other 17-25 people regardless of movement today or not.

Always UPS for me too. Which is good. If it's delivered USPS, I can usually guarantee it's been crushed, kicked, left in the rain somewhere; and probably just tossed out the window of those little truck things into the muddy ditch by the road (that's seriously happened more than handful of times.) If delivered FedEX; well, they are apparently afraid of front porches; so they play "hide the package". Could be in bushes, could be under a car, could be in my driveway, or even in my neighbors driveway. You never really know. UPS? Front door, on the covered porch, right where it should be, always.

I ordered 13" BTO around 4:30PM and got 3-4 week group:(
Mine is the stock $2,399 15" though. The dates hadn't slipped on the 15"s when I ordered mine. Still no movement or authorizations holds for me though :( Keeping fingers crossed that something will move in the middle of the night so I will wake up with an awesome surprise :)

Usually I prefer UPS. But we have a sub or new driver and my packages have gone to neighbors. I'm hoping it's a sub

Some areas have the delay. But you will still get it earlier than the most of us!;)

So ive chatted with Apple before and they refuse to upgrade to expedicted shipping, I know it already ships the fastest way possible so i just wanted to mess w me. Howver, after chatting today they "upgraded" to expedicted shorting my waiting time 2 days.

Any order that is 2 TB and 15 inch go to preparing for ship yet?

I ordered right after the announcement and it is still at "processing items " with the November 17-25 date.
