Right, let's get this ****-show of a thread back on track...

The latest we know about MBP orders:
  • Some 15" MacBook Pros have started shipping to US customers. The first showed delivery dates of Monday; the latest have showed delivery dates of Wednesday.
  • No 13" have been shipped.
  • No non-US orders have started shipping.
  • Some 3-4 week 15" orders are preparing to ship (shoutout to @huffy15 who asked).
  • Most people seem to have been charged by now, but only US customers are "preparing for shipment".
  • The expedited shipping people phoned to ask for have been refunded after Apple sent these customers an email saying they "couldn't guarantee" the option
Something that I am predicting:
  • Based on the facts that:
    • Best Buy called November 16 the "release date"
    • Parcels that were meant to leave China today bounced back to where they left
    • A member was unable to rearrange his delivery to a pick up at a UPS centre for Monday
    • A member posted a screenshot of UPS displaying an "updated delivery date" of November 16
    • Only an arbitrary handful of 15" models were shipped with Monday delivery dates
    • Apple refunded expedited delivery
  • I expect the deliveries currently scheduled for Monday will be delayed and nearly everyone will get their MacBooks on November 16.

It's haven't ship yet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Mine still says an estimated delivery of Monday. Apple shows a delivery of the 16th though. Not sure which will hold up but in any case, it arrives this week.

You realize that they leave factory, so departure, then arrive at airport facility, so arrival. They didn't bounce back to where they left, they moved locations.

I see what you are saying, but in my experience the UPS scan at the factory is an "origin" scan, not a departure scan.

Mine's still at P4S. Ordered right after the keynote.
Delivery date: 15-22 Nov - Indiana, US, 15" BTO.
Apple's "underwhelm and over-deliver" hopefully means atleast a few would get their MBPs on Monday!

I ordered the BTO 13" w/ TB a few hours after the keynote speech, got charged on Tuesday morning, have the estimated delivery date 15th - 22nd Nov., but the status is still "Processing items"...

Anyone in the same boat? I am in the U.S. btw.

I placed my order directly after the keynote:

• 15" BTO - 512gb, 460
• Received order confirmation email at 2:30pm EST
• Estimated Delivery Nov. 17th - 25th
• Authorization on my card Monday 11/1 at 7:30am
• Order changed from Processing to Prepared for Shipment early afternoon Tuesday.
• Authorization on card removed Thursday evening
• Still in Prepared for Shipment status

Not sure why I still haven't been charged the full amount and haven't moved to shipped status yet :(

Of course my card was rejected for an unknown reason. I raised the limit just for that payment and I have the funds. And of course, it's saturday night and I can't call the bank or Apple until Monday.

Ouch! I had something similar happen. Mine got rejected because of a limit/possible fraudulent use. After I raised the limit for the payment, I talked to the Apple sales rep and had them try to get the payment through while I was on call. That worked for me. And they mentioned that Apple usually tries to get the payment through every 4 hours.

I ordered 15 inch one, but yeah. Mine is still processing too. I chatted with Apple support, all they said is don't worry, there is nothing wrong with my order....

Almost the same as you. I ordered the 13 in BTO. It was charged but processing on Sunday. Then on Wed it was removed. Thurs it changed to Preparing for shipment, but as of now nothing has changed. No recharge and still hasn't shipped. My delivery date hasn't moved up like some either

15" BTO no shipping update. Expected delivery of 11/15 - 11/22. Still preparing to ship. Spent $14.00 for expedited shipping, thinking it was a waste. Confirmation of my order at 11:56 AM PST on 10/27

Apple refunded me the expedited shipping cost a couple days ago
