So frustrating seeing people able to track theirs.
My delivery window opens tomorrow (13th here now), and its still sitting on processing.
Others have reported that non-US customers haven't gotten tracking info until it was in their country. Who knows why, could be some weird regulation, could be some internal logistical issue. Could be a grand conspiracy to overthrow the world by mildly agitating citizens of other countries so they are too distracted refreshing the order status page to notice the Apple Army overthrowing their government and taking over the world. I don't know.
But, it very well may be that yours is going to arrive just as quickly as everyone elses, but for some reason, you just don't have tracking info because it isn't yet in the distribution center local to you (despite you being decidedly closer than all of us). Several have reported not getting shipping info in the EU, for example, until it was in their distribution center.

It's not a big deal. I have that message, and then 7 min later it was "Cleared". UPS only has a handful of status messages... pallets are being scanned and then cleared as they're loaded onto the plane. It's nothing like missing your commercial airline flight. Cargo planes need to fill their manifest before they fly. Going light is generally not an option -- fuel is expensive.
It's also the holiday season; a time which UPS is all hands on deck. Pilots and ground crew get over time, etc. It's not too crazy to think that there were two shipments on the ramp, and the other one was ready first, so they loaded it and took off. Of course, we're all just guessing here. But if it says it missed the plane, then it missed the plane. But, there are other planes. It's not a big deal. Changing a manifest or re-filing a flight plan is a routine thing and it's not a big deal. It can even be done from the cockpit with an iPad. The items can be updated, submitted, and a radio call to clearance delivery to cancel their current flight plan and request clearance under their new flight plan. (Pilots don't radio in their flight plan, it's all done electronically these days, clearance delivery just has to 'pull it up', and then modify it as they need to and then give the pilot any instructions/modifications. Pilot reads it back, if correct, they move on to ground control). Happens all the time.
Given that those of us who got the message first got a "not loaded" message and then a second "cleared customs" message, I really think these just hadn't cleared yet in time to be loaded; so we'll be on the next plane.
