Mine still says processing with eta of 16th to 23rd Nov. Got my order in literally a couple of mins after the keynote finished. Any other Aussies got a "preparing for shipment" or "shipped" notification? Ordered a maxed out 15" (albeit with the 500gb hd)
What do you mean? It's Shanghai to Anchorage...what am I missing?Wrong city.

I think it means that my MBP missed the flight. Everyone whose status is shipped might wanna refresh. What does that mean?
Nice.. I believe your delivery date is earlier than mine? (Nov 23-30)Charged.
13 inch BTO. Status: Still Processing.
Slowly slowly getting there.
Correct. It is 16-23 November.Nice.. I believe your delivery date is earlier than mine? (Nov 23-30)
Alright. I guess i'll see a charge in a few days then.Correct. It is 16-23 November.
Oh dear. Another reason for me to believe they are being held back until the 16th then.Correct.
Was your original ETA Monday?
Correct.
Hang on tight mate.Alright. I guess i'll see a charge in a few days then.![]()
I pre-ordered a 13 inch MBP early on October 28 (like 3am or something) and used the barclaycard financing. I never once thought that I would be ineligible for the special financing (18 months no interest) because of my order not processing in the first 30 days, but that may just be the case.
As of now it still says my shipment will arrive december 6-12. Even if its a week early, it still won't post within the 30 days, which means I SO can't afford it. I was banking on the 18 months and my student loans that post within that time.
Right now the plan is to wait until day 29 and call Barclaycard and Apple. I called both previously, but neither helped. Apple said theres a chance it will post earlier and Barclaycard said they cannot guarantee the differed interest rate, but could review my account after the fact if I ask them to and maybe they can do something... very vague.
Any suggestions?
Nada. Aussies have been left out in the cold. I guess we're lucky it's almost summer!
The Keynote happened at 4am on Australia Eastern Seaboard (I'm in Melbourne), so the fact that I ordered by 7.30am on the Friday means I was lucky enough to still get into the 16th to 23rd slot, as it was only a couple of hours after the Keynote.
You and me both!Probably has to do with my earlier theory that Apple will hold all MBPs so that they can be delivered on Wednesday the 16th and not Monday 14th.
Flightaware shows UPS81 flying from Kansai to Anchorage in a little over three hours. Weird.
