Mine still says processing with eta of 16th to 23rd Nov. Got my order in literally a couple of mins after the keynote finished. Any other Aussies got a "preparing for shipment" or "shipped" notification? Ordered a maxed out 15" (albeit with the 500gb hd)

Nada. Aussies have been left out in the cold. I guess we're lucky it's almost summer! :p

The Keynote happened at 4am on Australia Eastern Seaboard (I'm in Melbourne), so the fact that I ordered by 7.30am on the Friday means I was lucky enough to still get into the 16th to 23rd slot, as it was only a couple of hours after the Keynote.

my delivery date shows 11/15-11/22 and i dont recall ever getting an apple product delivered after the first date listed in the delivery range. mine is still PFS.

I pre-ordered a 13 inch MBP early on October 28 (like 3am or something) and used the barclaycard financing. I never once thought that I would be ineligible for the special financing (18 months no interest) because of my order not processing in the first 30 days, but that may just be the case.

As of now it still says my shipment will arrive december 6-12. Even if its a week early, it still won't post within the 30 days, which means I SO can't afford it. I was banking on the 18 months and my student loans that post within that time.

Right now the plan is to wait until day 29 and call Barclaycard and Apple. I called both previously, but neither helped. Apple said theres a chance it will post earlier and Barclaycard said they cannot guarantee the differed interest rate, but could review my account after the fact if I ask them to and maybe they can do something... very vague.

Any suggestions?

I would contact Barclaycard and Apple; but others in this thread have posted that as long as you place the order within 30 days you're fine; even if it doesn't charge your card. You probably applied for your card through the order that was placed anyway.

I hear that - i'm up in Rockhampton so the Keynote finished around 4.30am (I think - it was a while ago and getting up at 3am for these things messes with my brain!) I got my order in literally a couple of minutes after Tim finished talking. Apple have charged the full amount for the laptop - but Suncorp still show the transaction as pending. I hope Suncorp aren't holding things up! Just getting antsy as I can't wait to get my hands on this thing!

Flightaware shows UPS81 flying from Kansai to Anchorage in a little over three hours. Weird.

Does that account for time zones? Time zones can make for some funky stuff. A military pilot acquaintance said a few times he went back in time in his jet. Meaning he flew fast enough and through the time zones just right that he landed earlier in the day than he took off, despite being in the air for a couple of hours.
