I've also pondered that stock MacBook Pros could be a consolidated order. We all receive the same tracking until being broken down to deliver, then showing as shipped.

I was thinking this, but where they're coming from is a massive industrial site that just does exporting. It even has its own customs borders - four of them in fact. They export for Quanta Computer and many other companies in the area. Macs aren't huge volume anyway - it wouldn't surprise me if they're being treated like any other exported packages from the manufacturing zone. It would explain the haphazard nature of the shipping so far.

UPS's last collection times are based on the expected time to get from the collection point to clear customs and make the flight. I'm sure they could wangle later collection times, but Apple aren't chartering flights.

But I'll try to be optimistic! :p

Got my FeEx shipping notification this morning - BTO Space Grey 15" shipping to NYC.

I also got my e-mail that has "proof of AppleCare enrollment" and the start date for my Apple Care in their system is 11/12 which is odd since I won't be getting my computer until the 17th.

Don't worry, it will correct itself after a few weeks once the delivery date (as confirmed by FedEx) is fed back to Apple.

I think chances are high. It shipped from Shanghai on Sunday, but that was Saturday here. If you check the flights, it's already made the trip to Alaska AND Tennessee...the tracking information just hasn't reflected it yet.

I live in Richmond, VA. Which is only an 11 hour drive to Tennessee, so I'd say I have a good chance of Tuesday...possibly tomorrow (Monday) but I'm not holding my breath for that one.

Oh nice!! I'm located in Montreal and also ordered a 13" base Touch Bar model when the event ended. Delivery estimated between Nov 15-21. Which carrier did they use for you? Did Apple email you about shipment or you checked by reference number?

The money was taken from my card and I am "Preparing for Shipment" since Friday night...I hope it ships soon!

Excatly! I've heard Europeans BTO starts moving. I've an theory that the stock version will this time be delivered in the warehouses so we would get it by the 16th as well.

Else it's looks very bad with at least 5 days of shipping from now, if they will be sent from china. I don't think Apple dare.
 
Mine is in Kentucky, and probably getting ready to get on a plane to New York. The delivery date has updated as well (was the 14th, then no info) and now showing delivery tomorrow, Mon, Nov 14.

They used UPS, and I got a text from them that let me know it shipped! They also sent me an email though.

Most everyone is having theirs delivered by UPS.

Mine is coming via FedEx, probably since I called Apple and they graciously upgraded order to Expedited/Express delivery.
