Had a call with a after sales rep also.
She told me (like others have been told) that it ships from China and she thought I should see some movement today or tomorrow :-(
But then again...she also told me it's an BTO because of a processor upgrade...I don't have a processor upgrade, just a US keyboard instead of Dutch (which she also mentioned).

I'm also in the Netherlands, paid by iDeal, charged immediately and still processing... it's a 13" with 512GB disk and I'm so pissed off. Should I bother calling them?
You'll get the same answer. I think/hope we'll get the PFS status update today and short after that the Shipped status update. If we won't see an update today, I fear that we'll get our Macbooks at the end of this week or even next week

I ordered an almost maxed out 15" on october 27 – about a second after it was available online. It's been saying delivery between nov 16-23.
On friday on got an email saying that there was issues with the payment. Apparently because of a daily limit on my card. I managed to get i raised on saturday. After about six house (and lot's of tries). It seems Apple accepted my card.
Status is no longer "Waiting for payment", but back to "Processing Items". It's been like that for 48+ hours now.
I feel like I got pushed back in the line and have to wait for someone to manually take care of it or something. Anyone got experience with this – does it normally take that long if there is problems with payment to begin with?

I received my prior orders always on the first or second day of the estimated window. IF my MacBook isn't shipped from China yet, I will not be able to get it within the first days of the estimated window this time (Wednesday is the first day),...
But then again, the 23rd is the last day of the estimated window...so I guess I should try not to be to impatient...

What is your delivery window? I think you will have to wait 2-3 weeks probably till you see some movement.
I ordered mine on 31 Oct and nothing yet, and i don't expect to see any movement until 20+ November.
I'm in the same boat. Managed to raise my visa debit daily limit with my bank on saturday though – and tell Apple to retry the card on the website. Now it says "processing order" again (for 48 hours now). I talked to Apple this morning. They say it seems ok now and I should just wait for "a couple of days"
Hmmm, since it is a stock model, I think they will just charge your card when it is shipping. Things are probably different with us that has a BTO order because Apply want to be sure that the payment is sound before they proceed.
But you could always call your bank and check. Maybe the per-authorizing just doesn't show up for you. Your bank has typically more detail available.

I'm sure they are collecting a big batch to send to Europe, so once the first of us hits P4S, I think most of us in the 16-th-23th window could start celebration. Probably some from the following batch window will get theirs too.
Things have been slightly random in the first US batch as far as I can tell, so some luck might be involved too.
I'm just relieved that I got my payment issue resolved. It was a bit stressful this weekend to be honest!

Ordered a MBP 13" (256Gb, 2,9Gh, grey) on October 31st with expected delivery in 4-5 weeks, so 5-9 december
Until today no charge on my cc, ordner is still being processed..
Hopefully the manage to deliver in the last week of november ☺️

I really hope they will get here this week and not the next! Its ridiculous, that some of us ordered mere seconds after the store went back up and yet we are left in the unknown :/
Is there and chance that BTOs will be sent directly from Europe and not from China? That would certainly speed things up a bit..
If they put all EU macs into one shipment to an Europe warehouse, it could really speed delivery up.

Yes, but is this the best method to ship BTO Macbooks? Shipping them together and sort them in Prague or Eindhoven? Why they didn't do that with US orders?
I have a feeling that they dump them at DHL/UPS and let them deal with it. As far as i know, DHL doesnt ship directly to Denmark. Last time I got something from China it went through Hamburg. But this time there is obviously a whole lot more to send. I think we can fill a couple of planes.
