...Still no tracking information available according to UPS after receiving tracking number from Apple for the stock 13-inch 2016 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and Touch ID. I received the tracking number from Apple 26 hours ago. Quite surprised tracking information isn't available yet. In my experience, it's always been within 12 hours of receiving a tracking number....

I got my tracking number only a couple hours ago this morning, your post has now dampened my excitement a bit... Hopefully yours starts moving soon!

Just got an update on FedEx:

This was the case last year, but has changed this year.

Now, it is for orders received on or after November 10. So it includes the MacBook Pros.

Oh that would be nice! She apparently didn't know about this and I asked specifically about my order on Oct 27. The support page in Swedish on Apple's website isn't updated from last year.. I will have to call them again and ask properly then.

I talked to Apple CS earlier today here in Sweden and the holiday return policy only applies for orders after November 10..

Also, she just repeated the "Your order should be shipped soon since your authorization charge went through."

It's the same in US but since they are delivered so late it still applies apparently, I wonder if it's the same for Sweden?

Unfortunately my LG 4k monitors didn't work with the thunderbolt 2 to usb-c adapter so I took the laptop to the apple store. Besides 80% of the employees walking over to genius bar to check out the new laptop for like 10 minutes, they hooked it up to their apple cinema display and it worked just fine. I guess I'm gonna spend the next couple of days figuring out this display issue.

In case you use displayport to thunderbolt, expect that things may not work as expected. I just ordered a displayport to usb-c from amazon and hoping that will fix the issue. If it does, Apple is letting me return the 2 thunderbolt 2 to usb-c adapters without the box :)

No, I'm not beyond the delivery window. My delivery window is 17th - 24th, I agree with what you and others are saying regarding that. My disappointment is that of a consumer who has paid a large premium for a product. I think anybody purchasing a MacBook is probably tech/ internet savvy and will have seen that Macbook Pros are now being delivered today, I'm sorry but that gives me (and many others I'm sure) a bitter feeling towards Apple as my order has been stuck on processing since I ordered.

I have no intention of throwing my toys out of the pram, cancelling and complaining, I don't feel that strongly, it's just a disappointment. I contacted Apple CS this morning to enquire and for the first time ever, I found them quite rude. I expect better from Apple.

Apple are big enough and have enough experience in this to have done this much better. At the very least an update email to say I have been charged successfully, things are moving etc...

But, look, it's nothing more than an annoyance; I'm still looking forward to receiving my Macbook Pro, I'm enjoying following this thread and reading other people's reviews/ experiences. If my Macbook arrives after the 24th then I'll complain. If it's not as good as I expect it to be, I'll return it but otherwise I'm looking forward to it.

Aside from that, please, somebody update us on the Radeon 460, I'm literally on the edge of my seat to hear about this.

I have no bitter feeling towards Apple that some are receiving the MacBooks and I am not. Am I slightly jealous, of course, I am human. Apple set my expectations of when I will see my MacBook as they can only manufacture so many at a time and this is a worldwide product so there are a lot of people waiting for this too. I won't be upset or bitter with Apple until my MacBook hasn't arrived by 12/06 which is a day after my window.

If they are able to ship mine early I a hope it arrives before Thanksgiving so I have a 4 day weekend to play with it and get it setup. The only way they could have shipped them all at once or a larger majority at once would have been to say they won't be available for 4-6 weeks and then they could have just run manufacturing full tilt for 6 weeks and then shipped them in bulk but then they would have had issues of fitting them on planes and other logistical issues.

More power to the people that were able to order early and have them in their hands. Mine will be here soon enough. Again am I slightly jealous....yes.

Now one question for those of you that have them. Do they get warm when you use them on your lap?

You should have posted here before going to the Apple Store. :) TB 2 adaptor can't do DisplayPort. The DisplayPort to USB C is exactly what you need. I'll be using one for my Dell 4K.

So does anyone have any information regarding the 3-4 week time frame?
I ordered mine at 8:00 EST on the 27th.
I'm guessing orders with that time frame will see some sort of movement next week. Any input?

Alright.
I think I'm on FX72 to Memphis.
Just got updates front Fedex.

Whoa, too many pages to catch-up on.... Sorry if this has been said, but has anyone who pre-ordered from Best Buy with a delivery promise of the 16th seen movement? Mine hasn't made it to preparing yet..

Are they thunderbolt to usb-c adapters? Or are they thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 adapters. I know that TB3 has a usb-c footprint. I just want to make sure about the adapter you are taking about.

In Canada here, quick question. If MBP is on flight to Anchorage where does it go after that? Does it go to Louisville or somewhere in Canada from anchorage?

I was looking ahead at the next jump past Louisville for DFW-bound MBPs. I'm guessing those arriving on UPS81 or UPS105 will travel to DFW on UPS752, departing at 3:49am EST tomorrow and arriving at 4:34am CST.

Thanks for that info. I was actually on the phone with apple support and after talking to 3 people none of them could figure it out so they asked me to go to the apple store. Good thing it's only 5 mins from my house. I'm glad what I ordered is going to fix the issue. Next time I'll ask here before I contact Apple :) Lesson learned.

UK buyer here and I must say that whilst I am nowhere near my delivery slot of 8-14 December, I cannot contain my excitement any longer having read of the lucky souls on here getting their MBPs early (!).

I feel the pain of my European friends as it does seem odd that the US are leading the way with deliveries, particularly as we are taxed so heavily for the privilege of shopping Apple in the UK (my stock 15 inch has cost me £2.4k).

I have today e-mailed Apple for some kind of update as to whether my slot may be brought forward but I do not expect an insightful response.

On a slightly different not, I should add that I returned a refurbished 2015 top spec 15 inch MBP for a stock model 15 inch with Touch Bar model. Why? Because I am in no way a power user and the new model's svelte body, intriguing Touch Bar, brighter and wider colour gamut screen and crazy HD speeds were more than enough to turn my head. I am excited about the new MBP whilst I was merely content with the refurbished model and for me, technology should excite in some regard. So I still have no regrets!

May I also just say that this thread and entire forum is massively informative and I am very glad to have found it.

I received a shipping notification yesterday but it just says a label has been printed and it hasn't started traveling yet. I didn't see any situations like this in the thready (have not read entire thread, however). Should I be concerned?
