The actual score isn't really important except for comparison. If you're not a gamer: most console games run at 30 FPS and many PC gamers demand 60. Anything less than 30 is a poor experience. So hopefully that gives you some idea.

The 460 is probably going to be decent for 1080p gaming at medium settings and 30fps. Which is actually pretty darn good for an ultraportable.

Waiting for migration assistant to finish. I cannot WAIT to tear into this thing. I am not sleeping tonight, I don't think...

last 3-4 days status preparing for shipment, turned to shipped 11am pst 11/15. delivery 11/15 ups, southern california, usa. 13inch with touch bar , stock macbook pro.

Are you beyond the delivery window that Apple offered you yet? Are you looking for an update to inform you that nothing has changed yet? I am not trying to be argumentative, I simply want to know. Your post indicates you are disappointed in the experience and that you have not had an update and that in the past you have had a better Apple experience. In the past did you get updates before it shipped, even though you weren't at or beyond your delivery window? I understand your frustration and you shouldn't have feel this way about a product you are paying such a premium for. Have you considered canceling and proving Apple feedback as to why you did?

No, I'm not beyond the delivery window. My delivery window is 17th - 24th, I agree with what you and others are saying regarding that. My disappointment is that of a consumer who has paid a large premium for a product. I think anybody purchasing a MacBook is probably tech/ internet savvy and will have seen that Macbook Pros are now being delivered today, I'm sorry but that gives me (and many others I'm sure) a bitter feeling towards Apple as my order has been stuck on processing since I ordered.

I have no intention of throwing my toys out of the pram, cancelling and complaining, I don't feel that strongly, it's just a disappointment. I contacted Apple CS this morning to enquire and for the first time ever, I found them quite rude. I expect better from Apple.

Apple are big enough and have enough experience in this to have done this much better. At the very least an update email to say I have been charged successfully, things are moving etc...

But, look, it's nothing more than an annoyance; I'm still looking forward to receiving my Macbook Pro, I'm enjoying following this thread and reading other people's reviews/ experiences. If my Macbook arrives after the 24th then I'll complain. If it's not as good as I expect it to be, I'll return it but otherwise I'm looking forward to it.

Aside from that, please, somebody update us on the Radeon 460, I'm literally on the edge of my seat to hear about this.

feel for the guy a bit :p it's not even about meeting the shipment date earlier but more than there are seeming cases where other shipments were bumped up due to their geographic location. And before someone cites logistic companies Apple has obviously gone beyond the call of duty to transport as many shipments to Stateside so yeah... there IS an odd geographic favouritism but I don't know what
Now that I get. If the US does indeed get most of the preorders delivered early and the other countries who were part of the preorders don't, I do get that frustration. But then again, if most who preordered, get their product within or before the delivery window, it really seems "first world problem" to complain that one country got their preorders more before the estimated delivery window than others. If most in the US gets theirs before the window and those in Europe don't get theirs until after, that would really be irritating. But we all have a right to feel the way we feel and express it.

I've got the same shipping, down to the minute. Mine is 15"/2.7/1TB/460 to MD USA. Still showing end of day thurs, but I bet it slides to Friday. Not sure how we got economy. Maybe it's because I'm delivering to a business? Maybe payback for academic pricing?
Ikr?!?! Why didn't they put us on FX90???:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Maybe because we somehow still haven't made it through customs?

I think it is not even about the delivery windows and so on, but more about the lack of information regarding the whole shipping process. A simple explanation by Apple as to why its taking longer in Europe than in the US or why there is no change of status for days would probably help..

I think that it comes down to is this;

If Apple shipped out all the American pre-orders, and THEN the other countries; that's BS. Although since there are Americans who are waiting until December; it may be that they sent a batch to American, a batch to Europe, and a batch to other countries, in that order. Also, not cool. Though; still "as promised", just, not cool.

IF they all actually went out at the same time, and European customers are, as in the past, just not being given all of the information until they actually leave some local distro center; then I'm not sure complaints are warranted.

Problem is? We won't know until the European customers actually start getting them. If they get them this week? Then they almost certainly went out at roughly the same time. If they don't get them until NEXT week, then they were all on the "second wave". Not much to complain about still; because it'd still be within the 'window', but it does show that the American company have preferential treatment to American customers.

I also have the same shipping scans and almost identical build... I think we should still be ok with Thursday Delivery as long as these get on FX96 Tuesday with a schedule arrival in Memphis Tuesday 11/15 at 10:31pmCT

Disable wifi. It should go faster

Running over thunderbolt to Target Disk Mode. No wi-fi or ethernet in use. Which, going to an SSD, it SHOULD go faster. But, oh well.

Oh my :(

jealous! I'm on Ethernet to wifi. 5hrs remaining at 20MB/s.

Would it be worth running out to get an adapter from USB-c to USB-a?

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. USB-C, Thunderbolt and FireWire all support peer-to-peer but USB does not.

I'm delivering to a business too. Payback for company discount I guess lol

Can you confirm that connecting an rMBP to the 2016 MBP works using a thunderbolt 2 cable and the Apple tunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter for Migration Assistant?

Not the same model but, that's exactly what I'm doing.

Ordered on best buy online. Still processing. It says "get it nov16" but I feel like that's not accurat. Any idea when their orders will go out?

Back in September, with the iPhone/Apple Watch launch, Best Buy if you recall ended up giving gift cards and apology e-mails out because they straight up didn't get any inventory from Apple, they focused on their customers first. That's why I was weary of Best Buys early in store/delivery estimate.

So worst case scenario, it could be a couple of weeks. Best case? They get it on time, just haven't been updating your info.
