"And he looked upon his kingdom and wept; for there were no more worlds to conquer".

So. Many. Pixels. SO MANY. SO MANY PIXELS.

(2880x1800 15" MacBook Pro + 3140x2160 Dell 27", + 3140x2160 Dell 27")

Still awaiting a stand for the 15", and I still need to figure out something along the lines of a thunderbolt dock to reduce that from four connections (Display, Display, USB, Charge) to, hopefully, 1.

However, with this current setup; when plugged in, I am connected to that mouse and keyboard; and have access to twelve USB 3.0 Type A ports. The hub off to the right (I haven't figured out quite where to put it) and the USB ports built into the displays. By swapping one port and changing the input on the displays, I move right on over to the Windows PC.

Also just one dongle (USB-C to USB-A). Both displays are connected with a USB-C to DisplayPort cable.
Which stand did you order? This one: http://www.apple.com/shop/product/HKEF2ZM/A/rain-design-mstand-for-macbook-pro-macbook-air-macbook?

Can anybody please answer my question
Thanks in advance
I heard Apple is giving free USB dongles. I didn't get any is this true :p
Fine, I'll bite. Wrong thread though. Apple cut prices on dongles through the rest of the year, see here:

One person here mentioned getting a dongle without getting charged, but that seems to have either been a mistake, or an extremely rare happening. Don't count on that.

UK here! I ordered my MacBook 13" with Touch Bar BTO almost straight after they were available. My order is 17-24th November, still processing. I just spoke to CS via web chat and they said it is currently in manufacturing having RAM fitted. Take this as you will.

My MBP is on UPS81 going to Anchorage! :) Looks like it'll go to UPS6065 today to Louisville, KY. From there, I imagine it's going to Ontario, CA on Tuesday with UPS2912 with a final Wednesday delivery. Ugh, can't wait.

I'm guessing cs don't understand how a pick and place manufacturing line works.....

Ups81 keeps going to Kentucky so it will stay on the plane. Arrives 1:03AM in Louisville.

I talked with one as well. He told me they are spraying my space gray color right now on my brand new MacBook.

In Canada here, quick question. If MBP is on flight to Anchorage where does it go after that? Does it go to Louisville or somewhere in Canada from anchorage?

It stays on UPS81 and continues on to Louisville first. Arrives 1:03AM Tues morning in Louisville. Then on from there to Canada. Another order I had recently went from Louisville all the way to Edmonton in one day. Then onto a truck to me in Whitehorse.

If I suspect anyone, it would be the EU for intentionally screwing Apple customers. Even if it's not intentional, shipping to the EU has a ton of hoops to jump through due to all the regulations of satisfying all 28 countries.

The first point was a very strange conspiracy theory. The EU (with all its current challenges) intentionally screwing some Apple customers? It's a pretty strange proposition.

The second point is also inaccurate, as the whole point of the Internal Market is to have one set of rules e.g. for imports/sale of such products. Moreover, Apple does not always ship to the whole EU/EEA on the same day (i.e. Nordic countries often sees product launches later than Germany and France), so even if the regulations were so different there wouldn't be a reason to hold up all.

So I don't buy any of those reasons for the "delay" (if we can call it that since the shipping window for earliest delivery has not passed).

In Germany, waiting for my 13"BTO, not blaming anyone but hoping to see my order move to preparing for shipping soon! Looking forward!

Yeah I work in the U.K. for a US company that regularly ships huge consignments from the US and from China and other Far East countries, to Europe. I don't know what hoops are being talked about but those shipments are by far the easiest and quickest. Shipping to Russia though, that's another story.

Evidence of the chat - UK Order

This is promising. Would that just mean they would skip preparing for shipment? D:

Mine's also still processing:

Wow, this is terrible news for us EU people. Why do we have to wait one week longer than the guys in the US? I ordered after ten minutes... I just don't get it.

In my case I ordered literally 2 minutes after the store was opened. Just spoke with customer service and the lady told me: yeah... you know those 2 minutes a lot of people order, so you'll get a notification when it ships and it takes 3 days. Bummed!

UPS81 lands in 2mins in Anchorage, UPS 105 in 14mins.....UPS99 is in between them...LOL...no Macbooks on 99. Or maybe there are....it came from Korea...sometimes they go Shanghai to Korea just like they went Shanghai to Osaka....
