I have that exact same mark on mine, now i'm wondering if it's just a manufacturing mark... mine is a 15 inch BTO.Finally got mine and now i see some scratches by the left speaker any one else have any blemishes!!?
Yea i tried micro fiber and some electronics cleaner if you hold it a certain way you can see the scratches I'm not sure if its worth having apple send me a new one. They said they can expedite the shipping and put in in front of the cue. Am i being to picky? I am very ocd i guess i have never had a scratch on any of the 3 MacBooks i owned. Im pretty sure since its space grey just shows up more. Just curious if any one else notices any factory marks yet?
See if you can get them to give you some money back ($150?) instead of you sending the machine back. That's what I'd do, anyway.
Funny enough, we are on adjacent pallets - our times are identical except mine had the latest scan at 8:48am, while yours was at 8:47am! I think they tend to clear customs pretty quickly, so I'm sure we'll be on some flight out of there tonight or early morning, and available for delivery tomorrow, though mine has a scheduled date of the 17th (Thursday). When is yours scheduled for?

From a review I don't remember where (I think ars technica), it said that the surface of the screen is a matte finish that feels similar to the keycaps, so it's smooth to bring your finger across not a little sticky like the glass on your phone.
Okay thats what i was wondering, mine is 15 bto you can almost see a mark on the right side same spot. It must be from the manufacturing every other surface front to back is pristine.
Are you guys crazy you will return and are you sure you will get a unscratched one next time

My order has shipped from Shanghai, with a delivery date that has slipped to 21 November, I was quoted 14th-21st delivery window ordering the minute the store came online, 13" BTO.
Bit annoyed how apples handled the non USA orders delaying them when they had faster ship dates but owell..

It is very high quality, I haven't used it enough to know if it will be useful, but it looks bad ass.
Same here, however, my model is a silver 15. Anyone else care to chime in?

I'm scheduled for the 17th too. I really hope we see them tomorrow instead!! I'm in Virginia, not too far from Memphis, so I don't see why it would take 2 more days to get here -- unless Economy is slowing it down. Are you far from the hub, and are you going Economy too?
My 13" spent an hour in Portland OR this morning (probably needed coffee since it was so early), then took the leisurely hour long flight down to Medford (no chips!) and is now out on truck for delivery. As is my LG monitor. We'll see who gets to the house first, FedEx or UPS! I think I'll leave work a bit early (cough cough).
Ordered mine about 3 hours after keynote ended, shipping date was originally 11/25-12/2 called Apple and got upgraded to 11/22-11/30, no credit card charge yet and still processing...
