There must be a warehouse full of MacBook Pros somewhere in Shanghai...

UPS still insist that it will be delivered on 11/17 so now I'm hoping for a UPS 81 and then UPS 59 flight to Ontario, CA.

As long as I receive it before Tuesday I'll be happy.

Today I received my BTO 15 inch 2016 MBP. Opened it up. Started set up, and continued to get an error message that said the software needed updating. But then the update would not work and it prompted me to try again or to shut down. Spent 2 hours on the phone with apple tech support. No Luck. They sent me to the apple store. 1.5 more hours and they say nothing can be done. You need to return it.

Now Apple online store says I gotta wait like i am just ordering today 5 to 6 weeks. SO LAME.

This is your third post saying the same thing. We get it, yours had an issue. Sucks no doubt.

Yes, my camera is laggy... about .2 seconds it seems. odd. im a 15" BTO 2.6/450/1TB

Switzerland here, my 17th-24th ships 2-3 weeks 13" BTO has switched to preparing for shipment some time last night, so maybe this thing will finally move somewhere!

Yes, that's exactly what mine says! Except it was 8:47 am. We must have been in the same crate. Have you checked to see when the next flight out to your local hub is? Mine is at 4:11 am Wednesday.

I have no idea when that would come...I do not think any flight comes to the local hub at my city, so I am thinking it might travel on ground.

10 years, you beat me I'm using a early 2009 MBP 17".
I have given up on Apple ever making a 17" again so a 15" will have to do.

You need a UPS MyChoice account in order to change the order from delivery to pick up at a Ups center.

I do have an account. I log in, try to change, and at the very end it says I cannot do it. I will call them tomorrow.

My MBP was on the same exact flight, then got *two* international releases, at 8:43 and 1:02pm. Made the 3:30pm flight to baltimore, and will hopefully go out for delivery tomorrow (currently says thus though). Bet yours will go out on the next appropriate train/plane/truck!

Me too! 8:42am. But I don't live in the middle of nowhere. It looks like Fedex just isn't updating. I couldn't figure out which flight I was on since I've seen deliveries to either airport nearby.

Well, here you go - some keys don't work, especially the "Y" key, and i have an odd boot sequence, which I've taken a video here -

You should be able to see it and the momentary graphical glitches. They happen every time I restart, so I have no problem reproducing them.

Mine just arrived at Honolulu airport! Was tracking the flight. FEDEX still says Thursday delivery, but since it is here I am really hoping it will be delivered tomorrow! If I don't see movement by noon, I'll call and see if I can pick it up from the distribution center.

Received a 13 inch BTO, currently trying to airdrop an 80 gig file from my previous MacBook and airdrop keeps canceling the transfer at various points during the process - hopefully it works at some point. My initial impression of the touch bar is that I can't really see it in this relaxed pose Im currently taking. That is, Im slunched down in a chair with the laptop on my stomach, and so the touch bar itself isn't terribly visible / bright. Honestly, no real question in my mind that a touch screen is superior

Pretty sure AirDrop isn't meant for such large files.

Also, one uncommonly mentioned feature of the TouchBar is forcing users to have better posture.
