Maybe FedEx just stamps 'clearance delay' on there when they're behind a day and need to catch up.

I'm in the same about and I would expect some movement 2-5 December. Unless they're manufacturing is ahead of schedule then we might see some movement 28/11-2/12
Mine finally left Shanghai after 74 hours and went to Japan, but there's a Japan to Anchorage flight soon so I assume mine will be on that. Hopefully everyone else not in Japan are on the 81 flight!
Just picked up a 13" Touch Bar 3.3GHz i7 / 16 / 512 from the Apple Store! Apparently this is the "ultimate" configuration they carry and they happened to have one in stock when I checked, so I grabbed it. Can't wait to test out this machine today.
Add me to the list of "Clearance Delay Good are subject to regulatory review" in Memphis. Was hoping I'd wake up to the Minneapolis, MN scan but nope. Something like this happened with my JB Iphone 7+ via UPS when it was stuck overseas for a few days. C'mon Apple, get your %#* together!!

Which store did you pick it up at? Did you see the inventory online and buy it for pick up or did you just walk in?
Mine says Alaska too, didn't even notice that before. I don't think that's accurate though, as the last scan was still in Memphis, and it's more likely that the import customs center is in Anchorage, since that's where a lot of the shipments go through. So, maybe they're busy processing paperwork there, but I'm pretty surprised that either Apple or FedEx would screw something up like this, so it's either a random inspection, or someone is getting fired...
Is UPS Mychoice just slow to update? I just got an email saying my MacBook is coming tomorrow, thought the actual tracking number says not until Friday, and shows it as only having cleared customs in Shanghai (it hasn't gotten a departure scan yet).
I just walked in after seeing someone on Reddit say that they found this model in the store. I went to the Grand Central Apple Store.
Mine is "stuck" in Louisville KY now. Even though it arrived in time for the sort, it hasn't moved. I thought it odd that the delivery day was showing Thursday when usually I receive my packages the same day they arrive at UPS Worldport. Anyone else on the Shanghai -> Osaka -> Anchorage -> Louisville route that did keep moving overnight?
For the western Canadians out there. Mine sat in Richmond BC all day yesterday and then overnight went to Calgary and then Edmonton by 2AM. So any Albertans in the first wave should have theres today. Mine will now go by truck to Whitehorse. UPS still says 18th...I'm about 75% sure it won't show up till the 21st based on history. I won't get any more scans till it is on the truck for delivery....still it will beat my delivery estimate from Apple of the 24-30 no matter what.

I'm going to put it through some tests today so I'll report back with what I find. My biggest concern at this point is battery life.
Not to be too much of a downer, but I'm fairly certain that the system just hasn't updated itself with the newer information provided by the tracking number. It seem quite unlikely that it would just show up tomorrow.
Mine ended up going from Shanghai to Japan, and then to Indianapolis. Got into Indy last night around 1am, but must have been too late to make the trip up to Michigan for delivery today. Guess tomorrow it is then…

I ordered about 30 mins after release. 17-24 are delivery dates and it changed this morning. I'm not getting too excited there are people in the US that have been at P4D for days
