Anyone with 15" 3-4 weeks delivery see any movement?
yes mine went to shipped yesterday. 15" higher end stock model space grey. originally 3-4 weeks 23-30th november and predicted delivery on the 25th november with DHL to germany

Any UK people receive their machines yet?

Base 13 stock MBP Tb is showing as Monday delivery if ordered today (all other confirms are 4-5 weeks)

Never thought I'd be so happy to see the words "Preparing for Shipment!"

Ordered 15" BTO 10/27 8PM EST from the education store online and went to PFS around 1PM EST today. Shipping to store (standard) in Boston. Still says December 2nd.

Just went into Shipping to Store status. Delivery estimate was updated from December 2 to November 28. Anyone have any luck tracking store pickup orders (with a phone number/order number?)

My window is the 22-30, I was charged and status changed to PFS three days ago. Just got an email that the laptop has been shipped (15" BTO). Delivery date is Nov 23, just before thanksgiving!

Yeah, I'm from Hawaii! Oahu? I checked out Alas this past week and they had them in stock. That config won't show up online, you need to go in store to get the stock availability.

So I guess I'll be hanging out at my local store today then. :/ I've been checking the app every so often to see if that config shows up for in store pickup and it never does. That explains it!

mine I ordered 15in BTO on 6th Nov. initially was scheduled for Dec 8th but now shows 28th Dec

I got my ordered shipped today under this number by UPS 784693408980

But I can't track it. whyy?
That's a Fex Ex tracking number. It's scheduled to deliver the end of the day Wednesday. Just in time for Thanksgiving.

Order placed early morning on the 28th, finally got the shipping notice. Due to arrive on the 28th.

That seems like a long time off, even from China. I mean, I know Apple is a scrappy new startup where every saved cent matters and that the technology for quick delivery from China isn't really there yet, but hopefully in a few years someone who knows something about logistics might graduate to a leadership role with enough profits in the bank that maybe Apple will be able to manage more expedited deliveries.

But for now, I understand that profits must take precedence over customer service, just as I understand the need for soldered rather than user-servicable parts -- a new company must survive before it can thrive, after all.

Check now. Someone had the order date column filtered to only a certain date. I can't guarantee it won't be filtered again when you look! Lol.

FYI this is not a UPS tracking number. It's FedEx. Haha.

It was mentioned it's UPS. It seems they made it UPS by mistake

I just figured out later there was a mistake and they mentioned UPS instead of Fedex.

I wonder how it's shipped by no tracking information so far other than shipping label had been created. May it be due to weekend?

Walked into my local Apple Store, found the 15 inch quad core 2.9ghz 1tb with Radeon 460 in stock. Bought it and cancelled my online order

How is it that some folks around who've ordered later than 10/27 are already receiving their BTO 15" MBP (same identical fully spec'd out config as I've ordered on 10/27) sooner? I haven't changed anything on my order nor contacted Apple who pushed my order back from Nov 25 to Dec 5. Just a question mostly out of curiosity. I'm in Oregon.

Apple charged my card but estimated delivery isnt until Dec 26-30th for me. Im kinda dissapointed because i was planning on cancelling and buying a mbp in store today

Yeah, I question they are FIFO as a CSR told one person who posted here. I placed my order on 10/27 at 7:00 PM PDT, and I see people who ordered well after me have already had theirs shipped, and I'm still sitting with an estimated delivery of 12/5 - 12/9. I think 13" touch bar models are shipping after 15" models. I ordered the following config for my 13" with touch bar:

  • 3.1GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5
  • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • 512GB PCIe-based SSD
