2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

I got charged two days after I ordered it. I'm concerned. Took full price out of my checking account. My delivery is not till 1/4. Are they shipping or am I waiting.

Most likely that is the pre-authorization hold since it sounds like you used a Debit card.

Typically with credit cards the pre-authorization may not show on our side until the invoice is generated (PFS) and the charge is actually pending.

I did use a debit card. Well money is gone at least via the bank online. I'm worried if my business specialists gets one in store if I can cancel get a immediate credit and buy at store. That's my concern or at least transfer to store buy.

I also got Apple Care, which Apple seems to have charged me for already as I'm seeing that amount on the credit card. Does Apple charge for Apple Care early on - anyone can confirm?

They didnt for me. Im still waiting on my card to get charged. Figure they are going to charge mine all at once.
 
I canceled 2 orders and finally placed my correct order on November 2nd with a delivery time frame of December 7th-December 13th. Anyone movement or prepared for shipping in that time fame?
 
Ordered an hour after the keynote, estimated Nov 18-25, and getting it today! That was a long six days without an update...

Ordered on October 31st, with a 4-5 week window. Deliver dates of 12.07 - 12.13. No movement. Still in Processing.
 
Ordered October 29th, with a 3-4 Weeks ETA 28 Nov - 6 Dec. Credit card was just charged this morning at 4:11am but order is still Processing any guesses on actual delivery? I live in Toronto Canada.

Mine just went PFS this morning. Got charged yesterday.
Ordered Nov 28 BTO 15" with 3-4 week (Nov 28-Dec 5 ship time)
 
15" Stock to Spain still processing too. No movement in status and credit card. In Europe the orders come slow, very slow. I need it for 1st Dec. but I think that I don't have my new MBP for this date...
 
Looks like there's lots of Toronto people waiting here too, +1 here.

Waiting for any sort of movement on my order, which was placed Oct. 29th, Estimated Delivery of Dec 8th - Dec 14th.

13" with Touch Bar - 2.9GHz, 16GB RAM.
 
My friend had a 15" base model on order with a delivery date of December 7-December 13. Told him to cancel it and just go to an Apple store, and he got one today lol

Almost identical to my order, ordered Oct 28th with estimate of Dec 7th - 13th, also in Ontario. They'll probably both be part of the same batch.
