2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

I checked my local Apple Store today (SF Bay Area), and they took down my requested specs, 13", Touch Bar, 512 GB and everything was okay until I said I needed 16 GB RAM. She just looked at me apologetically and laughed nervously, saying none of the stores will have that config in stock. I guess I can wait another week or 2 for my online order. I did get to play with the stock model. Didn't love the keyboard, but hope I'll get used to it.
 
Anyone in the 4-5 week window, that order the week of October 31st had any movement? I see people who ordered the week before start to see some movement.
 
Meant to be arriving tomorrow. Anyone else with TNT (Australia) seen this before?

Delay Due To Congestion En Route. Recovery Action Underway.

I called and they said the freight hasn't arrived in the country yet. Someone else on Whirlpool got the same message, called them and they told him the same thing, but then his MBP arrived at his door 10 minutes later. Dunno if there's an actual delay, or if their systems have just gone crazy lol.

Ordered November 7th for delivery 09/12/2016 - 15/12/2012 to New Zealand. Standard 13 inch model with touchbar. Still processing, don't expect to see any movement for another two weeks. Hopefully it won't take long to ship it all the way down here to New Zealand. Should get it just in time for Christmas :)
 
anyone who have placed order in first week of Nov have a progress update on the order status????

After weeks of waiting for my BTO 15" Macbook Pro, it has finally shipped out and is in Sydney Australia. Soon I can bid ado to this thread.:rolleyes: I also wish everyone here the best of luck in getting their wonderful new toys.

This isn't entirely relevant, but I've had my machine since Wednesday (15 inch 2.9, 1 TB, 455) and I just boot camped titan fall 2 on it yesterday. I was amazed that I was able to play at 1280 x 800 or whatever the closest setting to that is (I know the 800 is right) on high textures (the maximum texture quality) with everything else set to lowest quality and I was getting very impressive frame rate and graphics. I would even say it looked better than on my xbox one which is similarly specced in terms of gpu power. Just thought I'd give all the gaming MacBook Pro orderers something to look forward to.

Edit: don't game on the keyboard though. I actually really like it for typing even though I hate the rMB keyboard, but I had much better luck using an external wired apple keyboard.
 
I just ordered two days ago at Apple Store here in Pheonix with a business specialist the top end model. They charged a dollar from bank. Wake up this morning and they charged the full amount two days later. Order still says processing though. They said they would not charge me until it shipped. I had a 1/4 ship date. Is it possible it's coming now. I'm thrilled but nervous at the same time. Thoughts and good ones I hope

While I ordered before that (10/27 at 7:00 PM PDT), I did have a 4-5 week shipping estimate and a Dec 5 - Dec 9 delivery window. My card was just charged this morning, finally! But my order still says it's processing. It does seem to matter what you ordered (i.e., 15" models seem to go first, from what I can tell).

I ordered the following 13" TB:

  • 3.1GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5
  • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • Intel Iris Graphics 550
  • 512GB PCIe-based SSD
You should start to see movement soon.
