How is it that MacBook pros are now 3-4 weeks delivery and my delivery date is still the same as when i ordered at 4-5 weeks delivery? If they suddenly were able to shorted the delivery times, shouldnt the already placed orders be shortened first? Or am i misunderstanding something?

Wow! My maxed out 15" SG MBP moved from "preparing to ship" to "shipping to store"! And the in-store pick-up date shifted from Dec 14th to Dec 7th! Very excited about this! That's next week! (Ordered on Oct 31st 12:15 PM EST)

I have spoken to CS about this. I've been told that we can expect an earlier delivery but nothing is sure 100%

There's still the same volume of products needing to be produced before yours, but it has reduced enough to shorten the wait for ones ordered recently, I'd assume.

I was excited like everyone here but trust me after a day the mac is actually boring nothing new screens brighter but pinky not white like all apple screens and touchpad sound is horrible and lag even on maxed out 15 is unbelievable how is my iphone 7 and new macbook so laggy compares to last gen, now im not saying all this cos i hate it but just csnt believe i wasted £3000 when its worse than 2015

Delivery date updated from Dec 7 to Dec 6 and, as usual for Apple pre-orders, "Standard Shipping" actually means "Worldwide Expedited." Yay!
Now where have those images of little planes gone? Would love to track the flight from China.

Well, you know, some of us don't (or can't) get a new computer every year or so.

As for me, I've been using a 9.5 year old Mac mini, whose RAM is up to its maximum of 2GB. The difference between having to use it and my new MBP will be YUUGE.

You can return it.

I'm on the same boat as you. I'm coming from a 2007 20" iMac that is maxed out at 4GB of ram. I can't wait for my 13 MBP w/ Touch Bar to arrive!!!

Got another delay message today. This is the second time they've delayed my order. Ugh.

Order placed October 27

Original estimated date was November 26-28. Then December 1-5, now 8-12 wtf Apple.:(

Hmm… It doesn't make sense to have it showing "Preparing for Shipment > Ships: 2-4 business days" AND to show those odd delivery dates.
Have you contacted Apple to find out what the problem is?

I should probably ask, I just haven't bothered contacting yet cause I'm guessing they're going to tell me they're still heavily backordered blah blah blah lol

Mac Book Pro supposed to be delivered today. Just got email from Apple that they need clarification of the shipping address. They've already shipped 2 items on the order that have been received perfectly fine. I have no idea what's going on, but I'm on hold.
