Okay so next time Apple says you can't get the high end 15 2.9/1tb/460 when you go in store please laugh. My business specialist called me today as I wanted the space grey but settled for silver well I just exchanged my silver for space grey in store a hour ago. They are out there just need to get lucky and Oh have a really big credit cart to boot. LOL

My MPB tracking went from Origin Scan @ 7:55pm, Departure Scan @ 8:02pm, to Arrival Scan @ 8:17pm all in Shanghai, China on 11/29 China time.

That was my guess to when I was looking at the flights. Glad I'm not the only one with times like that. I have never seen a package be scanned departed then scanned as arrived in the same place like that. I just thought it was weird. lol
Mine skipped Anchorage. Found a FedEx flight on FlightAware with near matching departure/arrival times
4:20 am Arrived at FedEx location MEMPHIS, TN
2:39 am In transit SHANGHAI CN

Has anyone ordered either from Apple or B&H photo a fully maxed out 13" MacBook with touch bar? I.e. 3.3 i7, 16gb ram and 1tb ssd? I ordered mine from B&H on October 29. The order is still "processing". I already received 13" MacBook Pro touch bar 2.9 i5, 8gb ram and 512 ssd ordered from B&H on the same order on October 29.

I order a maxed out 13" on November 25th. It is still processing and is expected to be delivered at the Apple Store but December 30th. I'm very hopeful that it'll be sooner though.
I ordered the maxed out 13" from apple. It went PFS on Monday, shipped this morning and had an export scan from Shanghai an hour ago.
I just ordered a nearly maxed (1TB SSD, 16GB RAM) 13" MBPwTB; estimated delivery date to Texas is "Dec 27–Jan 3".
I'm honestly nervous though, because I have a flight to Colombia on Dec 29 and then a flight from there to Canada on Jan 11; not back in the States until early February.
I'm a super-patient person, really, but I cannot have my laptop sit at home for a full month, and it seems too risky and costly to have my roommate in Houston ship my almost $3K laptop to my friend in Vancouver. I'll also lose education pricing/financing if I cancel the order and choose the option for in-store pickup, sooooo I'm nervously hoping that it arrives before Dec 29. Please send me good vibes if you're reading this!

It went from P4S to "Shipped" within 13 hours. It is shipping from Shanghai, with a Monday delivery via FedEx, according to FedEx tracking.
I'm using "Standard Shipping", so it is interesting that mine is not being shipped by UPS. Also, as far as I can tell, there was a bit of a time lag between what the Apple web page reported to me and what the FedEx tracker is telling me, even taking into account time zone differences. So, while Apple reported my status as "Processing", the shipment info had already been sent to FedEx, and by the time my status changed to P4S, my order was already at the FedEx origin facility in Shanghai. Those of you who are still in Processing but you are at the front of the queue, stuff may be happening!

Anyone else have theirs get stuck in US Customs? If so, how long did it take to arrive once it cleared?
Mine arrived in Anchorage on 11/26, then in Louisville on 11/27. Was supposed to arrive today, but the UPS tracking has no activity since it arrived in Louisville. I chatted with a UPS rep this morning, who told me that it cleared customs this morning. Now it has to get from Kentucky to California. Ugh....My 2012 MBA is about to die.

I have a question: The tracking say "Shipment information received" at Eindhoven. But Apple web say me that deliver date is 12/12. How is possible that DHL take two weeks to send the package?

So yesterday morning they said my order would be delayed to arrive sometime December 8-12...then last night they notified me it's shipped and will arrive December 6th. Stop playing with me like that Apple! lol

Just out of curiosity , I notice that lot of Apple retail stores have ready stock, but why there are still quite numbers of US buyers going for online order ? Better deal offered ?
If you want a pure stock build, you have a good chance of an Apple store having one, but you need to live close to one and for many people outside of big cities, there might not be any store close.
For more custom builds, some users are having luck finding them in their stores, but not all. I went to two Apple stores to see if they had anything that matched what I wanted in stock and they didn't, so I'm waiting for my delivery sometime between Dec 19-23.
