The "lagginess" is likely due to spotlight indexing, which will take a while. The "pinkness" you see is due to Apple changing the display's white point. I believe they changed the gamma from 2.2 to 1.8, where it used to be prior to Snow Leopard. You can always change the gamma back to 2.2 (6500K white point) if you wish.

I wouldn't read too much into the delivery dates. I ordered on the 31st and my original estimate was as late as Jan 3rd and then last week it changed to 19/12/2016 - 28/12/2016.

my MacBook Pro 15 inches ( i7 2.6GHz 512GB AMD 460) with an original shipping estimate of 9th to 15th December has shipped yesterday morning however the DHL tracking number is still at (shipment information received( location:EINDHOVEN - NETHERLANDS, THE)) and this still hasn't changed since yesterday! how long the shipping usually take to Germany does anyone know
so impatient ;)
 
I remember earlier in this thread there were people who were following a plane or flight number or something? Where can I access that info?

I still remember from my iphone7 order that is only works if you been given the tracking number of the bulk and it usually DHL global forwarding Or UPS which then would be broken down in the Netherlands or somewhere in the US if you're from their

I have my UPS tracking number, and it says it's in Shanghai now, but I don't think there's any other useful information yet. Maybe it's because it only "shipped" this morning
 
MBP was supposed to be delivered today Apple gave Fedex the wrong address in another city. They don't know where it will be delivered or when, and cannot assure me what will happen next.

The address they gave does not exist. They have other addresses to deliver in the correct city, but don't know which of these Fed Ex will actually try to deliver to. Because there have been overlapping/delayed communications and F***-ups. I'm working hard at not being bummed out.

Agreed. Coming from a 2008 HP DV5. I'm pretty sure the difference will be substantial.
 
My laptop silver 15 inch ordered on November 2nd with delivery time frame December 7th-December 13th has just been charged to my card.

That truly sucks. I hope they don't leave you in limbo for too long.
 
My 15.4/2.9/460/1TB arrived yesterday, exactly one month to the day I ordered it. Picked it up at the Apple Store (Bethesda) last night. Delivery was originally set for 12/5, then about week ago was it bumped up to 11/28. Slick machine, sending vibes for everyone still waiting, it seems well worth the wait.

Ordered the 13in mbp with tb a few days ago from apple. Apple says it will be here after xmas. Kinda needed it before that. Any downside to ordering from Amazon?

At long last, I'm P4S! Ordered on October 31, and I was envious of the people who ordered after me and saw movement before me. It is the higher stock model 15". Lets see where it ships from.
 
My 15''-2.9-460-2TB ordered on Nov 1st moved to PFS, not sure if what I am reading in these forums about defects is reality or trolling. But as I have a very limited window to receive my purchase in a country with Appple stores I have ordered a second one with same configuration just in case...
If I have a lemmon I would check if the second one is better and if not I will return it without opening it.
 
Anyone know when Adobe will be updating their software to support the Touch Bar? How about Chrome? Thanks!

Also, do the fans on the 15" Macbook Pro actually really loud when rendering/exporting videos using Adobe Premiere?
