Just in case anyone is hoping to combine their new purchase with the LG 38UC99 Ultra Wide monitor, might be an idea to grab yet another dongle (USB-C to Displayport)...

You could always just buy a displayport to USB-C cable and then not even need a dongle?

After a week of my card having a temporary authorization, I finally got my ship to store notice last night. It'll be arriving on the 9th as opposed to the 14th as originally stated. Initially ordered on 11/1.

15-inch MacBook Pro - Space Gray

Configuration

  • 2.9GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
  • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • Radeon Pro 460 with 4GB VRAM
  • 512GB PCIe-based SSD
  • Four Thunderbolt 3 ports
  • Touch Bar and Touch ID
  • Force Touch trackpad
  • KYBD/USER'S GUIDE
  • COUNTRY KIT

Ordered via a B2B account for work a 15" Space Gray BTO 2.7 / 512GB / 460 on 11/7, the order went to PFS on 11/29 and shipped the same day.

It has been out for delivery here in SF Bay Area, CA since this morning and still hasn't arrive, which is strange as UPS typically comes to my office early in the morning. :(

Are there any movement on European Nov 8 orders so far? I see on the spreadsheet that a nov 8 order ona 15" Macbook was shipped Dec 3, so like anyone else in here (or at least i pressume), my cmd-R buttons are getting pretty worn these days ;)

My Nov 8 ordered, BTO 15", 2.7, 512, Radeon 460 Space Grey status finally become "Prepare For Shipment"...

I'm waiting shipment notice to Turkey now...

Yup, been wondering the same thing. Almost three days due to "severe weather." Am beginning to suspect something fishy. There was a few-hours wind warning in Ontario CA on Sat. No weather issues since and certainly not locally here - I mean they've been to Anchorage… they can't handle a few cms of snow?! I tell you, even Canada Post provides better delivery service; wind, hail, sleet, and snow, the mail must go through.

(Was a letter carrier and can attest to delivering mail during severe storms summer and winter; the latter through snow drifts up to my neck!)

I ordered MB 15" 2,7 / 1 TB/ 460 on Nov 4th.
Estimates: dec 13th - dec 19th
Still no movement; processing item...

Is someone in the same situation?

I ordered my base SG 13" w/ TB on November 25th and still in processing. Says it will be delivered December 28th. So excited! Going to go to the Tampa Apple Store tomorrow to see if they have any in stock. If so, I'll just cancel my order.

Ordered on Nov. 4th too, 15" 2,7/512/460.
Estimates Dec 14th - Dec 20th.

It still says Processing Items on the Apple Order Status page, but my Apple Business status page just switched the order to Sent to manufacturing, which is just before Preparing for Shipment.

My identical laptop ordered same day is PFS, but it has been for the last 48h. Hopefully both of ours ship overnight.

There is a flight at 10pm from Ontario,CA to Seattle, WA. So hopefully, its on that flight.

Well I can stop obsessively refreshing the order status page because my order is... cancelled. Ordered on 10/31 (5 weeks ago today) still stuck in processing. Completely not ok with Apple shipping orders placed a week after mine before me. Local store has last year model in stock, going to pick it up today. Super excited about my magsafe and sd + it's literally $1000 less. Enjoy your $1000 touchbars guys!

Bye Felicia

New to the forum but wanted to add my order stats since I've been silently following this thread to determine when my MBP order may ship and it's been helpful and helped me stay sane during the wait.

Ordered The evening of November 7th. 15" 2.9/512/460. Finally have a charge on my card about an hour ago and order page now states preparing for shipment. So happy to finally see some kind of change on that order page!

ETA- delivery date range was 12/14 to 12/20

Are you sure that wasn't just a charging usb-c cable? I know the included cable only has the ability of usb 2.0. Maybe try a thunderbolt 3 cable also.

Those getting their orders in the US. Are they delivering UPS, Fedex or a mixture? I prefer the UPS guy as I can gauge what time he will deliver. The Fedex guy can come quite late. UPS has also been using golf carts in my neighborhood to deliver since there are so many orders.

Mine is coming via UPS.

I just sealed my tbMBP 15" (2.9/2TB) back into its box for a full refund. Keyboard is terrible. Trackpad palm rejection is terrible. Touchbar is useless. Battery life sucks. Speed increase is too minor.

The new hinge tech is nice. Space Gray looks great. But those two benefits can't justify me keeping this machine relative to mid-2014 rMBP 15". Very disappointed.

I imagine that this has been asked before, but my base 15" Macbook Pro Touch Bar with 512gb upgrade moved to preparing for shipment over the weekend, does anyone have any idea of when I should expect to see it shipped?

Tried out the new machines in my local apple store on the weekend as well and I actually really liked the new keyboard and am looking forward to receiving mine even more now.

I ordered my CTO 13" space grey touchbar 512gb 3.3gHz i7 with 16gb ram on 29 October 2016. It's been 5 weeks already.

Just been told there's a shortage of ram and apple refusing to give me any ETA on delivery. I live in Australia. Apparently nobody has received any CTOs in Oz. Driving me insane!
