2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

Just been told there's a shortage of ram and apple refusing to give me any ETA on delivery. I live in Australia. Apparently nobody has received any CTOs in Oz. Driving me insane!

Mine arrived in Airlie Beach QLD today. Ordered 6/11/16

I ordered MBP 13" 2,9 / 512 SSD / 16 GB RAM on Nov 3rd.
Still absolutely no movement. (Processing)
Delivery window is the same as yours, 13th to 19th.
I'm from Germany, where are you from?

I have to correct myself. It just slipped to "preparing for shipment" the minute I wrote my comment above!

Just shipped! As far as i can see, it must be shipped from the Netherlands with DHL, but apple says scheduled delivery will be the 12th. Fingers crossed that it will be as usual with DHL, and delivery will be tomorrow.

I am still waiting in the damn queue, ordered on 6th & yet to see any movement at all

Shipped, woohoo! Now the downside is I can't actually TRACK it since it's shipping to the store... On the other hand, now I can just space out and hope it shows up early!

You know, it's taking so long because Apple is building it just for you. Doesn't that make you feel better and make your wait all right? This is Apple's response.
 
I'm still waiting - posted above (I'll repost here). I called APPLE and they said not to worry. But I am worrying a little. I live in Paris and will be in the US from the 19th and leave on the 31st. So if it arrives after I'm gone it will not work. Someone suggested not to have a knipitian fit until tomorrow (the 7th). I saw that others in this thread had a notice "ships in 5 or 6 days). Why is mine 4 to 6 weeks (and that since I ordered on the 7th). Any explanations out there?

I know that this is their response, because I tried to get some more information from them. And they gave me nothing...

But it's weird that mine is still in processing status, my credit card wasn't charged yet and people who ordered later have it shipped already...

Didn't you place your order around 11/10? I just received shipping notice and I ordered 11/4... try to have a little more patience, I think things are speeding up as they are through the pre-order rush. I bet you receive notice soon!

Tried out the new machines in my local apple store on the weekend as well and I actually really liked the new keyboard and am looking forward to receiving mine even more now.

Mine went from PFS to shipped in the same day.
 
I know when I ordered, what is frustrating me is Apple's response that it is taking so long because it is being built just for you. How ridiculous!

What do you want Apple to do? Put yours ahead of everyone else? Think about how many orders they've had for the new MacBook Pro's and how many different variations there are in terms of not only internals, but also cosmetic layouts for keyboard variations location by location. Apple's not doing this in spite of you - they aren't purposely trying to delay your new device.
