2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

I received an email about a delay ... I originally had Dec 12-16 which changed to Dec 16-20. In this mail they told me it would ship on Dec 15.
I ordered the same exact machine on the same exact day as you and I'm still processing. Why would that be?
Every time you check order status, Apple delays your shipment by one minute. At this rate, mine will ship some time in 2034.
Besides my conspiracy theory about them personally spiting me, this is the best explanation.
On 12/4 I ordered online a SG 15TB Pro 2.7 512 550 with store delivery. Store pick up date scheduled for 1/2. Stopped by my local Apple Store today to see if maybe they had this configuration in stock. Walked out 30 minutes later with my first ever Mac in hand after cancelling my online order. Couldn't be happier! No more Microsoft Windows! Beautiful computer! :0)
My order was almost exactly the same as yours. Ordered a 15"/2.7/1TB/460/SG on 11/8. Has 15th-21st as the delivery. Hoping mine will ship tomorrow.
Question, has anyone had problems getting maps to recognize your current location on Mac? Ever since I got mine its been unable to determine my location I even had to manually set the time because it wouldn't do it automatically. I've restored and reset the computer too so wondering if I should take it back
The Apple stores sometimes have models with BTO options? I'm leaning toward the base 15" model with a 512 GB HD upgrade but figured ordering online was my only option. Thanks.

Wrong thread, but the time comes from an Apple server, and location, last I knew, requires WiFi to be enabled. If WiFi is on and your internet connection is solid, perhaps a preferences file is corrupted or you have a hardware problem.

2.7/512/460 went in PFS this morning and shipped out later this evening via Fedex. Scheduled delivery date is this Friday the 16th.
I have the same estimated delivery, except I ordered a base 15" with 512 SSD. Went to P4S yesterday morning but still hasn't shipped.
Where are you? I got expedited too, but it's UPS to Canada and 20th, not 16th. The worst thing is that I'm leaving on 19th.
Im in Illinois, USA. but i also got FedEx shipping if that makes any difference.
Finally, happy for you. Hope it means mine will be P4S soon. I wonder if the release of 10.12.2 impacted the delays at all. I know Apple is adamant that the graphics issues and battery issues will be resolved with 10.12.2, so perhaps they wanted the latest version on the current shipments of MacBook Pro's.
2.9/1TB/460 ordered 15/11 (19/12 - 23/12 window) and charged 7 days ago, still at processing.
Decided to give Apple Store Support a call, and after speaking to one of the nicest CS reps I've ever had the pleasure to speak with, was offered a $50 dollar voucher for anything else I might want to purchase. I didn't even ask.
Would recommend anyone who hasn't already to give Apple a shout, ask for the status of your new toy and see if they'll offer you anything.
Pretty stoked with that little Christmas gift!

Thanks. Hopefully they'll be some movement on your order too. I wouldn't be surprised if they come with the latest Sierra release, or maybe a semi custom build. I'm still planning on doing a fresh install when I receive the machine. I'd prefer to lose 20 minutes doing that than set everything up and find an error later.
