Ordered on Nov.17 - 15inch/2.7/460/512GB

Still processing items, and no charge on credit card.

"Delivers 21 Dec - 29 Dec by Standard Shipping"

Was really hoping to get it before Christmas, but considering the lack of movement/news from people who ordered the 15 it seems unlikely now. Must be some problems with the production.

A temporary authorization appeared on my CC on Dec. 13/16 for an order I placed on Nov. 20/16.

Space Gray 15"/2.7GHz/512/460

No change to the status of my order but ETA range is Dec 22-30.

It actually moved a week ahead because on the order confirmation (email from when I initially placed the order) the delivery range was Dec. 30 - Jan 5.

It'll be interesting if you machine ships on time. I ordered on the 7th Nov and had a delay notification this morning, almost the same spec except for I have the 2.7GHz processor. It's now due mid next week.

Good news here too, NOT. My MBP15 TB, 2.7, 460, 2 TB, ordered Nov 4 just went from delivery Dec 12-16 to Dec 20-22! Still "processing". I'm going to be generous and think they have had problems with battery life, 460 graphics, scratches below speaker grill etc. Wouldn't want to think they stiffed us preorder people in order to get some into stores for Xmas would we? Seriously, if this machine is not perfect whenever it gets here I will refund it and wait for the next version which may actually be cheaper to buy. My gorgeous at the time 2010 MBP can serve another year. I will be so happy, as a user and an investor in Apple stock, when they finish choosing curtains for their offices in their new multi billion dollar Spaceship Campus building and get back to their jobs of innovating and making great products. AND DELIVERING THEM ON TIME.

Ah I'm sorry, that's a shame.

I'm currently laptopless, but if it has any faults at all it's going to be replaced. They won't get the first machine back until the second one has been delivered either. Apple are really testing my patience at the moment.

As an aside, my iPhone6s has the battery issue, I was told, 'Book an appointment, we'll fix it' and instead it's book an appointment to give them my serial number again and they'll let me know when they have batteries in stock. They'll take my phone away for 3 hours while I wait. No loaner phones available for battery changes apparently.

Processing.

Space Grey 15"/2.7/1TB/460

Australia-time, ordered 28th November.
Estimated shipping: 20-28th December.

Charge was placed on my card on the 11th - not yet cleared. I'm partially hoping that the charge won't actually clear until the end of the week because then I get an extra 30 days to pay for the MBP :/

Do we need a Google Docs sheet or something to get some science behind these delays?

Processing...Processing...Processing.

We need something more animated to give us a sense of progress (even if it's false). Like a:
  • Spinning rainbow pizza
  • Swirling blue progress bar where the 'less than a day' actually takes the longest of all the rest of the days.
  • Maybe more apropos: a line of little Foxconn factory worker icons tied together where the blood gradually drains down the line until it finally ships!
The goods man, just the goods...

Order date: Nov 10
Specs: 15"/Space Gray/2.9/16GB/1TB/460
Est delivery dates: 12-16 - 12-21
Credit card auth on 12-11

I've been told today it's still expected to be delivered within that window. Crossing fingers that's true and none of the problems alluded to above.

Just talked to an Apple Customer Service person. (She was quite rude, as I talked to her.)

Dang, I feel bad for you. The majority of your posts on this thread seem to be about you getting rude customer reps. You must have terrible luck as I have yet to have a bad experience when talking to Apple. They might not be able to give me the answer I wish for, but I haven't experienced what you have.

It can help with everyone discussing time frames and asking what configs everyone ordered.

Damn, My CC has been charged last Wednesday & It's now a week, yet no progress, have placed the order on the 6th Nov & its more than a month. I had a conversation with the :apple: tele rep & was told since I have BTO 15 SG, it's now under production, will be shipped in due time, donno when....:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::confused::confused::confused::confused::cool::cool::cool:

My 15inch/SG/2.9/460/1TB ordered November 4th originally estimated for delivery 13th-19th just got pushed back to the deliver (by) December 23rd. I've chatted with them twice now and both times they told me they could not change it to Expedited delivery. Keep on waiting.

Wow. Apple has blown me away on this one.

Original estimate for in-store pickup: 29 Dec.
Updated esimate after shipping: 15 Dec.
Actual ready for pick-up date: Today, 13 Dec.

Good on you, Apple. That's how to under-promise and over-deliver.

So stoked.

So seeing a lot of movement on other MacBook Pros. Has anyone on here recently had one ship with the 460? I am just curious to see what really is causing these delays with the orders.

I have a sinking feeling the delays may be caused by the various returns and exchanges. Especially on those 460's. could be wrong but I can imagine those exchanges for scratches and graphics glitches may be taking priority. I've decided to keep my scratched 460 that was delivered yesterday as long as I don't experience any other problems.

I saw someone have theirs shipped today. 2.9/1TB/460 and they ordered Nov 22... here.

I have ordered November 14th and my Credit Card was charged on Saturday. Now my status is procession. Shipment windows was going down from Dec 18 - Dec 28 to Dec 16 - Dec 22. So i might get it before christmas, which is very important for two projects i have in the pipeline.

My config: 15-inch/ 2,6Ghz / 256GB SSD / 16GB RAM / AMD Radeon Pro 460... Shipping to western half of Germany..

Good news. My status just changed to Preparing for Shipment. Whew! I ordered on November 6 with a CC charge on December 8. My delivery window is Dec 14-20. (That's tomorrow...hmmm.) 15"/SP/2.6/1TB/460. Shipping to AZ.

I had a pending charge on my credit card on 12/9 for my 11/5 order of 15" SG 2.9/512/460 but the charge disappeared this morning and is still processing. My delivery range is 14-20 but I'm not feeling confident that I'll get it before I leave town on the 19th.

Good luck. My charge disappeared too and my delivery delayed until the 23rd. Let's hope it's earlier.
