2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

November 20: Ordered 13" space gray tbMBP (built-to-order; 2.9GHz i5, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD). Shipping to the United States. Apple's estimated delivery is December 21 - December 28.

December 12: Status updated to preparing for shipment and card was charged.

December 13: Status updated to shipped and tracking went live. Apple's estimated delivery is December 20, while UPS's scheduled delivery is December 19 by end of day.

Ordered on 11/7. Credit card charged on 12/8. Went from processing to PFS today around 10:00 am. Scheduled delivery unchanged from Dec 14-20th to Maryland, US. 15"/2.9/512/460

Seriously??? Dang. I ordered the same config on 11/8 was charged on 12/8 and I'm still stuck in processing hell. Mine is being shipped to store but my window was 15-21 with store PU date of 12/21. I keep hoping something will happen soon.
 
Yesterday, we were inundated by nearly 22 snowflakes here on the West Coast of Canada. It looks like all infrastructure has been shut down for the week.

This is good news, because FINALLY we are seeing a 460 ship.

good for you!! I'm only a couple days behind. 11/10. Meanwhile some guy in another forum ordered his on 11/22 and already has it in hand! same configuration. muther ****

I ordered the same computer two days before you and am still processing. Is yours space gray?
 
ok, I called and mentioned that the SAME build as mine 15/2.9/460/1TB SG that I ordered on 11/10 my CC was charged on 12/9 and still no movement. MEANWHILE someone who ordered teh same exact config on 11/22 already had theirs ship.!!


The person on the phone was very nice. My shipping was already upgraded to expedited and then she tried to upgrade it to next day shipping. She was upable but.. now that I checked I now have "Next Day Shipping"


So HOPEFULLY there will be some movement! up still nothing as of yet. I wonder if it is in china or actually in the states.

If it is BTO and overseas they can't do next day. Mine was next day and then changed to 2-3 business day. When I inquired I was told they can't do next if it is coming from overseas.

So an update : I chatted with an Apple Specialist regarding my order, and switched from In-Store Pick-Up to Delivery to my office.

Shipping estimate now shows 12/20 ~ 12/27 (was originally 12/28 with in-store pick-up).

Card was charged today.
 
My replacement was supposed to deliver 5-7 business days from Nov. 28 (delivers 8-12), but it got delayed last Wednesday (7) to 15-19. The new shipping date quoted ships in 2-4 business days & it's already been over 4 business days. They upgraded the shipping to "Next Day" last week but I highly doubt it can come from China to Hawaii overnight lol.

Not exactly sure what's causing the delay, my config is the 2.7/512/460 BTO.
 
Ordered Nov 7th. 15"/2.7/512/460 SG. Edu discount. Still Processing.

My order is a little bit different because my worked ordered it for me, so I can't check the charges. Oddly, I have an estimated delivery date of 12/13 - 12/28! The problem is that our offices close for the holidays starting on the 23rd. I've e-mailed our account rep to ask for an update and asked if changing it to store pickup is still an option without delaying it further. I'll post here when I hear back. Our Apple rep is awesome and hopefully he'll have/be able to get more info.

I really thought I would have my machine in hand at least a week earlier than the date quoted. I'm seriously getting nervous about seeing it before I head out of town next week. Today starts the 7 day count down.

OK NVM LOL, mines just went into preparing for shipment.

I already tried changing to Ship to Store while still in Processing but unfortunately that would mean cancelling and re-ordering at the back of the queue.
 
My 15"|460|512|SC order changed to P4S this morning. I'd ordered on 8th November. They also removed the authorisation hold on my account. I just hope it delivers on/before 19th as I have to cactch a flight back home in the evening on 19th. Right now it still shows 14-20th as the delivery date. I also have expedited shipping so I hope they pull through

it was BTO as far as I know, however it still says "next day" so we will see

Guess my machine will be in the same flight... although I ordered on Nov 5th. Same config as yours only 512GB. Status changed to PFS today. According to the mail received it should go out on Dec15 with exp. shipment and arrival 16-20 (Germany).
