Mine reached Anchorage, Alaska a couple of hours ago. I guess it's going to take the flight to Louisville in the next hour and reach Canada tomorrow for delivery according to the expected date.
 
I ditched the B&H order and reordered from Apple. At least an actual delivery estimate is provided: Jan. 4 to Jan. 10. And maybe delivery will get bumped up a few days early.

Hey, welcome to MacRumors! This forum can at times be filled with a lot of negativity, but we can hopefully reduce that with more involvement from positive-minded people.

I personally had the same jump you did in 2012, and I think you'll love the bigger screen. For a lot of use cases, that bump in size eradicates the need for a secondary monitor screen without sacrificing work efficiency.

Just received notice that my 15" 2.9GHz/1TB/460/SG ordered on November 17th has shipped! Yessssss.....
 
My MacBook Pro was originally supposed to be delivered tomorrow but got pushed back till Monday. Just checked the tracking and it went from Shanghai and just landed in Memphis. There's a flight in 5 hours to Hawaii, so I'm hoping it gets on that plane to deliver on it's original date.
 
I just noticed that there's now a shipping fee ($13 for 13" and $14 for 15") for almost every configuration except non-touchbar 13", but the delivery option is still Dec 28-Jan 4 o_O
 
Quick data point -

15" 2.6GHz/512GB/460

December 1 - ordered
December 12 - credit card charged for full amount
December 14 - preparing for shipment
December 15 - shipped, estimated shipping date December 23.

Original estimated shipping date December 28.

Weird how mine just went from shanghai straight to Memphis. It's heading to Hawaii now so I'm hoping they'll let me pick it up tomorrow.

No change to the status of my order but ETA range is Dec 22-30.

It actually moved a week ahead because on the order confirmation (email from when I initially placed the order) the delivery range was Dec. 30 - Jan 5.

Update:

Preparing for shipment on Dec 15

Shipped on Dec 16 via UPS, standard, to Toronto, Canada

ETA is Dec 28

Still within the delivery window but disappointed it won't be before the holidays. Never know though... UPS sometimes underpromises but over delivers.
