Some people may want the faster USB-C I/O. You can get a dongle to use USB-A, but you can't get full speed TB3 on a 2015.
The big difference, and perhaps something that's really being overshadowed, is that PCI-e SSD. It's way faster than just about anything else out there and that's going to be a difference you can feel. The 2016 MBP is going to FEEL really fast because of that!

I've ordered a base rMBP 15 inch. in Space Gray the 28th Oct. from the Educational Italian Apple Store Online. I got 25th Nov. - 2nd Dec. as established delivery period.
I'm a little worried because my order status and my email confirmation don't report the color of the Mac (as you can see from the picture attached). It looks like is the Space Gray model, but I wouldn't want they send me a Silver one. Should I be worried about that?

I'm only speculating; but I don't think that would be the case. I think once there's a Mac down the line with your name on it, the system reports "preparing to ship". Preparing being the key phrase here.

Just wait for them to shift to Kaby Lake. Delays will be reduced by 30%.

Yup, no change on mine. Same date as Boris and same ship location but mine is BTO.....still processing.
It doesn't tend to work like that. iPhone 7 Pluses have been at "3-4 weeks" or more since September.
Lucky you! Mine is still sat at processing however my date range is 3-4 weeks so hopefully I might see some movenment on mine next week or the week after. I am applying absolutely 0 logic to this statement btw.
