2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

I'm at the 30min mark, and still nothing. I did get 3 kernel panics today. Really wish Apple enabled a method to force iGPU only as now I have no control when my machine thinks it needs dGPU. And when it does, it jumps over and DIES!

I'm guessing what someone said earlier was right. They probably have the base models already built but won't charge/ship until the same batches BTOs are made.

Someone said that they were told by Apple it would ship on the 10th and deliver the 12th so I'm assuming somewhere in there us early orders will be fulfilled.
 
15" base model here - ordered 15 min after store was back up. Estimated delivery Nov 17 - 25th, no charge on CC yet :/ HURRY!!!
 
BTO 15 inch 2.7, Radeon Pro 460, 2TB ordered right after keynote. Showing Nov 15-22nd delivery, no charge pending yet :O.
 
I placed my order 10-15 mins after the Keynote. 15'' BTO, estimated delivery 11/17-11/25 (US - California) No charge yet.

BTO 2.7 15" Radeon 460, 512gb within 10-15 minutes after. shows nov 17-25th. Charged last night.
Also, i talked to a chat apple rep and they said it should ship this week. SOOOO hmm

Man, makes me regret getting a dGPU. Looks like I'm getting Applecare as a birthday present then.

Good to see you and @killawatt from the Skylake thread around here; just hang tight for a couple weeks, haha.

I just added a payment charged column for the 13" TB sheet in the excel file for anyone with that order to update the sheet! :)
 
I ordered my 15" BTO at 2:44 est on the 27th (10-15 minutes after the keynote ended when the online store started working). I was charged the $1 authorization when I placed the order but as of today I still haven't been charged the full amount and my status is still processing. Hopefully we all start to see some movement this week.

So finally made an account here. Been lurking since forever.

It seems likely that EU won't be charged until the MBP's hit a distribution center.
Otherwise I can't really see why we haven't seen anyone from EU being charged yet.

Given that mine still says "processing", as does others; I wonder if BTO orders are charged differently? Maybe charged before they are built? Maybe we were all charged all at the same time because today is the day our Macs run down the line?

If that's the case, I wonder if we won't see them ship for another couple of days...

I wonder if they are building these in batches; and perhaps they haven't built or started building a 'batch' configured for EU specs (EU keyboards, charger, etc.)

I ordered the same configuration and have not been charged. It seems as though the 2 TB people are going to have to wait for the actual estimated time frame on our orders :(

Hmmmm.... tis true. I can't imagine Apple building a bunch of BTO's and then have a bunch of people cancel for whatever reason.

It might be. We also have to consider that EU needs different chargers and sockets...

Can somebody provide me a link with for the apple support chat?
I have been looking for it but can't find it.

The way I ordered I was only given the possibility to pay by banktransfer (which made me go back in the waiting line since this took 5 days to complete :(I have to wait untill the second week of december:().
I would like to change my payment to be charged by creditcard since this gives me an extra warranty and now I've already payed for a product I will only get in 4 weeks ...

I ordered a base model 13" with TB, 4-5 weeks, estimated delivery 9-15 december :(

you mean the "order status" page I guess?
I can't see it there...

Maybe it's because I ordered it through a friend of mine who works in an apple store or I think I've also seen that it might not be available in Belgium??
 
looks like all BTO's being "charged". It could simply be an auth hold before they build these custom machines. The stock ones they will just send to stores if a charge did not go through. The last thing they want is to be stuck with BTO machines.

Card got charged early morning, but the bank declined it. I had to go to the bank and place a 24hour charge window as the price of the macbook was above the daily spending limit - Student woes!

Anyways, I got on call with an Apple sales rep, and got the transaction through about 15mins ago.

US - Indiana
