Ya because nothing is more fun that watching Roger Clemens go into roid rage and throw at everyone's head.

This will be a great LCS. The Cubs and everyone else. Nationally the networks wanted Cubs Red Sox but Indians Jays should be fun. And tonight's Dodgers Nats game will be entertaining. I really want the Cubs to pull it off this year. They are the best team.

That's fine with me. Or the Indians.

While hitting HR's is fun and exciting for the fans, Jays need to learn to play contact/small ball and that's what killed them this year. That should change in the offseason as the Jays are not expected to sign either Bautista or Edwin for the price they're likely to demand.

I'm proud to see Cleveland in the spotlight again - they received scant coverage by the press until they were actually in the ALCS, and even then the Cubs-Dodgers stole the limelight. I think they can win the world series despite their unorthodox approach, and even if they lose it will have been an outstanding season for them and for the city.

I think this will be all Cubs tonight and they are on a mission to get curse off their backs.

But not to be talking curses and not mentioning the Indians who have not won this in nearly 70 years. I think if it's Indians-Cubs, it will be Cubs in 5 or 6.

This is a city which, after the Cavs won the NBA Championship earlier this year, has only recently stopped thinking of themselves as perennial losers. If the Indians were to win the World Series too -- in the same year -- the place would simply erupt.

A nice part of me would like to see the Cubs go to the Series and win... but loyalty outweighs niceness. :D

I'd love to see Wild Thing throw out the first pitch in Cleveland

That would definitely be a crazy moment :D

Being that the last legitimate and full championship year was 1948 (Indians) being that the 1964 NFL season only had just over half the pro football teams, Cleveland will be off the hook. The pressure will be to repeat which is a totally different ball of wax. I can picture LeBron sporting Indians gear and be at a few WS games. Who knows, maybe he will try a hand at baseball and if MJ and Tebow did, why not LeBron?

The biggest two championship year I could remember was the Pirates and the Steelers and top chart hit, "We are family". The city was America's city that year.

And no matter the result of the WS now, a storied franchise's drought will end. It will be Cubs vs Indians. Cleveland had their title though this year, I'll be rooting for the Cubs.

Cubs in 6. I'm not sure this matchup is particularly close.

Nobody is close to the Cubs.

Look who they have. It's like they have the best of the Dodgers, Nationals, Indians, Blue Jays, and Giants. They are so deep they resemble the 1990s New York Yankees. Not only do I think they will win WS, but they will take the dynasty mantle from my Giants.

Usually a team wins WS with great pitching but while their pitchers will do well, maybe only better than the average WS winning team, their bats will just punish the Indians. Look what they did to the Giants in the NLDS late in the last game of that series. Look what they did to Kershaw tonight. I think they will do the same damage against the Indians.

People forget but it's also been forever and a day since the Indians won so they aren't exactly coming into this as if it's routine, either.
