Help pls.

Dude, that's besides the point.

Don't you know they're thinner, lighter, come with a super thin (unusable) super clicky keyboard and cost much more than before.

Just look at it, that's what you do with the 2016 and 2017 MPBs.

Screen lottery has been around since retina was introduced. Larger the screen, the greater chance of variance. I went through six 2013 Macbook Pro 15" before an acceptable one. Now I'm waiting for fourth 2016/2017 15" to show up. I realize there is no perfect IPS panel out there, but Windows laptops I've had (XPS 15 and Surface) with high-res screens didn't have this problem.

Sent in my +1 year olf MBP 2016 before Christmas, returned without any flaws after New Years.
They changed the display, the keyboard, the case, the ports and the battery. All within warranty

Hi guys, I've got 2017 mbpr 13 touch. I also have 2014 model and screen seems off to me right from the first boot.

Model is 0000A034

left is 2014 model whites of which in real life look natural.
Whites on 2017 model on the right seem off.

Is this a reason enough to ask for an exchange? Are you all seeing this same problem?

It’s not a brightness thing? It looks yellow or dull. Does changing the color profile help?

The only thing I’ve noticed on mine’s a slightly brighter left side, but whites do look white.

I had same brightness on both.

if I don't compare it to anything whites look white to me too. Its when I put it up next to some other screens that whites become strange. Its a matter of perception, our brain adapts easy. Have you compared it to other models?
