Yes they do. Would love to see Foles, Keenum, or Cousins come to Denver. --- Post Merged, Feb 6, 2018 --- Josh McDaniels has backed out of taking the Colts head coach position. What a loser this guy is. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...lts-at-the-last-minute-to-stay-with-patriots/
McDaniels had agreed to become the next head coach of the Colts. The Colts announced it, scheduled a press conference and then McDaniels backed out of the deal.
After his SB performance (and considering Gurley's and Goff's dramatic improvement), you gotta wonder how much of Foles' struggles with the Rams was do to Jeff Fisher. Nick had a good year under Chip Kelley, stunk it up under Jeff Fisher, won a SB under Doug Pederson. That said, I hope the Colts chooses Jeff Fisher for the HC job.
The more I hear in the media I'm not sure Foles will go anywhere. Well, let me rephrase that, I'm not sure Foles wants to play for any other team or any other Coach other than Pederson. Now, the Eagles could cash in on a trade offer that they feel they can't refuse. It will be interesting to see what happens.
Oh boy, this could be interesting especially if Wentz comes back and doesn't do so well, especially coming off his recent injury.
Argh... The Colts are putting together a pretty good coaching staff: Frank Reich HC, now Nick Sirianni OC. Sure these guys lack experience, but they are innovators. By a wide margin, better than Josh McDaniels. A pox on McDaniels for backing out of the Colts job. He would have screwed them up for years.
Yup I think they dodged a bullet, just like the Eagles did when they were interested in hiring Ben McAdoo and he decided to stay with the Giants.
Word on street is that Aqib Talib may get traded and the Patriots are one of the candidates. I have to say, seeing him play as a bronco, I just got a sense that he's a dirty player and I really don't think patriots need that sort of presence on the field or in the locker room - just my $.02
Richard Sherman is going to be released in a couple days, also Bennett from the Seahawks was traded to the Eagles, officially the end of the Seahawks hopefully, can not stand their fans
Yikes, Bennet to the Eagles, good for the Eagles, not so good for others in the Division. I can't stand Sherman as a person, but he isn't too shabby as a cornerback though. Wonder where he will go?
Im thinking New England because they did try to trade for him last year with a 3rd rounder. Another sleeper team could be the Rams, why not go back home and terrorize the Seahawks twice a year
I saw reports that they were shopping Earl Thomas as well. I guess all of those rumors about the locker room being in flux were true. This team hasn’t been the same since Pete Caroll decided to throw instead of run in the SB
Rams ain't playing around. First Jason Peters, now Aqib Talib and Sam Shields. A weakness has now turned into a strength while maintaining and improving cap space for Donald, Gurley and potentially Goff if he turns into the QB he was drafted to be. Rams' focus is now restocking the linebacker position.
Looks like the rams took him and are willing to take on his entire contract. Last year they had that whole, "we'll entertain trade offers but we won't" sort of thing going on. Looks like they don't feel that he's worth the 11 million that he's due in 2018. Link to some rumors Wow, I don't know any player who acted as their own agent made out well (I'm sure there are exceptions), I can remeber Culpepper being his own agent and failed to really do anything. I think given the high dollar amounts of these contracts, and the complexities and nuances of what's written, he's better off using an agent, but what do I know. Given his talent level, I'm sure someone will throw some money at him, but then I thought the same thing with Culpepper.
Marcus Peters and Talib in the same locker room... this could either work out great for them or blow up in their face with those personalities.... They should throw in Richard Sherman now just to add some gas to the flames.
Wow, the 49ers signed Sherman to a 3 years 39 million contract. The irony. Kinda sucks as a seahawks fan though, the defense is screwed if they can't get another decent corner. They already let go jermey lane(makes sense) and deshawn shead(doesn't make sense considering he would have only made 1 million this year). I'm hoping they go for a good corner in the round 1. Their next pick would be round 3.
