I think the Seahawks dominance is over. I have read that Kirk Cousins is all but locked in to go to the Vikings
I wouldn't mind cheaper ticket prices at hawks games, I think they'll be be relevant as long as russel wilson is qb. He was number 1 in touchdowns last year, that's with a non existent run game and a horrible offensive line.I think the Seahawks dominance is over. Doesn’t that require the Jets to have a component front office.I really hope that’s true. I would hate for the Jets to overpay for a below average QB and be in mediocrity for another 5 years. They need to try and hit on a young franchise QB in the draft and build around him.

It seems the contract is team friendly, including an unheard of 2 million dollar a game singing bonus, so correct me if I'm wrong, but he doesn't play a game, he doesn't get the bonus. I also think signing with the first team/offer is a mistake. He acted as his own agent and I think that worked in the 49er's favor given how the contract is structured.Wow, the 49ers signed Sherman to a 3 years 39 million contract. The irony.
My only concern is, is Keemun's season last year an aberration or is that good?Reports are that the Broncos have agreed to a deal with Case Keemun. I think it’s a great move.
It seems to be incentive heavy, he could make 40 million if he plays full out.It seems the contract is team friendly, including an unheard of 2 million dollar a game singing bonus, so correct me if I'm wrong, but he doesn't play a game, he doesn't get the bonus. I can see his desire to stay on the west coast, but by the same token, this is a business and he could have gotten a better deal elsewhere [with an agent]
Holy cow, Batman. $86M, 3 year contract. IMO, they overpaid. Not my team, so I don't care.Per Adam Schefter: Kirk Cousins signing with Vikings a 3 year fully guaranteed deal

To get the full $39.15 million, Sherman will need to play all 48 regular-season games over the next three years, be on the field for at least 90 percent of the snaps, make it to the Pro Bowl every year, and qualify for the All-Pro team every year.
That's one way to play all out. Supposedly Seattle didn't want to give him those incentives so they passed.
I think Sherman the agent really dropped the ball on Sherman the player, but that's what almost always happens when a player thinks he can out-perform an agent. But hey, he's a heck of a lot richer then I am, able to things, I can only wish, so he really doesn't need the $$That's one way to play all out. He must be doing well with endorsements much like Gronk, he doesn't really need the NFL money, it's just a bonus.I think Sherman the agent really dropped the ball on Sherman the player, but that's what almost always happens when a player thinks he can out-perform an agent. No question, the majority of his $$ is coming from endorsements, but you know how many of these athletes equate respect to money. I don't know if he's one of them, or other factors worked in his decision but at face value it does seem like an agent probably would have worked out a better deal.He must be doing well with endorsements much like Gronk, he doesn't really need the NFL money, it's just a bonus.

Joe Thomas is retiring. He's the 2nd best OT (second only to Anthony Munoz) I've ever seen play the game. There may have been others who were better at their jobs, but I've only been watching the NFL since 1977. Why make the man wait 5 years? Size him for a gold jacket right away.![]()
Yeah he should've requested a trade after his rookie contract.Agreed, too bad he squandered his whole career on such a horrible team. The game is just unfair sometimes, then you have scrubs who fall a%$ backwards on teams like the patriots and land on a ring.
With Suh officially cut, I wonder where he'll land.
